theres a man, in a black car in the middle of nowhere, theres no artificial light around, and the lights on his car dont work.. a black cat walks out into the road and stops, the man in the car stops just before he hits it, how did he see it?

The Moon was shining, and the cat was in profile silhouetted against it.

Or, the Moon was shining from behind the car, and the cat's eyes, as the cat looks towards the sound of the onconing vehicle, reflected its light back towards the driver (which is, incidentally, how cats' eyes in the road were invented for real).

well as the cats eyes are only revealed with light, the moon must have been out to reflect the cats eyes!!!!

because as his lights dont work, he has to be extra carefull incase the police catch him, so he was looking out for things and taking extra care when driving?
