I want to get different fish than the usual platies, mollies, and swordtails. I'd like something unique but that is easy to care for.
The tank I have is a 30 gallon tall tank. It's been cycled for a year already. I did have golsfish in the tank for about a year. But now they are in my pond outside. All I have in my tank now are a few snails. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My toy poodle won;t eat dog food his diet consists of 1 apple a day, treats, corn, carrots, cherrios and that is all he will eat. I am worried that he is not getting all the nutrition he needs or is he?

I have a lucky bamboo plant and of course my lil kitty loves to eat the leaves off of it. but i was wondering if it is bad for them or poisonus to them at all?

Every night, anytime between 11:00 pm to 1:00 am my dog goes in the kitchen, drinks a full bowl of water, then eats his bowl full of dog food. When he's finished, he comes in the bedroom, walks around my bed several times, then jumps up on my bed (he's a 90 lb. chocolate lab) belches, then he lays down, sighs heavily and goes to sleep. I absolutely love his little routine every night!

She spent thurs night to sat afternoon in the emergency hospital on IV. She has shown little improvement since I took her home. We have been back to the vet and they said she is not dehydrated enough for IV and we should wait a week and watch her before we test her electrolytes.
When is she going to improve?

Ok my parents are driving my crazy because they say they cant go out anymore because of my dog. We don't travel anymore or stay at hotels like we used to every year because:

a) There isn't anyone who wants to take care of her except grandma but she is old and I can't leave her that responsibility anymore.

b) My dog is a little aggressive with strangers, and people are afraid of her.

c) I can't leave her with a Veterinarian, or "pet hotel" for a few weeks because my parents thinks it's too expensive.

My parents want me to get rid of her, but I don't want to leave her in a animal refugee, she can get killed there, and I really don't trust anyone who can take good care of her. People don't care much for their pets here. Also my parents say that when they travel I am going to stay home with my dog which I DON'T want to do because I like to travel too.I don't want to get rid of my dog. I LOVE her TOO much and she loves me too. I will be very sad if I leave her.What can I do?
