The lactose proteins in cow's milk is very difficult for the feline digestive system to break down. Feeding your cat milk can cause diarrhea and other digestive problems. It's okay for an occasional treat (a few times a month), but I would personally recommend finding another treat that your cat might enjoy that is better for her body. Believe it or not, even if your cat doesn't like cat's milk, it's good for her, and contains almost 3 times the protein that cow's milk could. My cat gets half of the tuna juice from a can of tuna (in water) when I eat tuna. He loves it and it makes his coat shiny and soft from all the Omega 3 proteins.

If the cat doesn't have the option of cow's milk, and is presented only with the cat's milk, she may learn to like it, but there are no guarantees with a cat!

Contrary to popular belief, milk is NOT good for cats or any other animal, for that matter, once they are weaned. Cats, especially, have have slow functioning kidney/liver/digestive system and it takes the milk too long to be processed. That is also why you never give a cat Tylenol (only aspirin under a vet's care).

Well, if she's stinky, don't give it to her! Cats are allergic to milk. People are allergic to things that taste good and sometimes they eat it anyway, why would a cat do anything more intelligent than a person?

Cats needning milk is a myth. The only milk they need is mothers milk until they are weened. Water is fine and if I'm not mistaken, milk can actually be bad for them.

Regular milk usually upsets cat's atomics and gives them the runs. I give my cat water most of the time, but occasionally I'll add in just a scoop of baby formula. He seems to like it and it doesn't mess with his atomic.

All cat's are lactose intolerent. Cows milk has tons of lactose. Feed your cat lactose free milk and she will be fine, otherwise your cat will get sick from not being able to process the milk.

As you know milk can cause digestive problems. Try a can of goats milk or a few drops of lactaid in the regular milk.

by regular milk I'm assuming you mean cows milk. cows milk is NOT GOOD for cats!!!! cats cannot digest it properly and it give them diarrhea, etc.
the difference between the two should be obvious...different animal..different milk.
