I visited the towers in May of 2001. I went to the top. The towers were a busy, bustling place of business. The top was full of gift shops and food courts. I saved all my receipts from my New York trip and still have the WTC ones. It's so erie, the receipt has the servers name on it and I can't help but wonder if the person is still living.

When I visited the towers months before the attack, it was a foggy day. At the top of the towers you could NOT see a thing. At the time of the visit, I thought, "Boy a plane could hit these towers because they couldn't see them!"

So when I heard a plane hit one of the towers, I figured it was because of the fog. I wish it was now...

Anyway, leave an "answer" to this "question" by simply leaving a memorial or a small prayer for all the victims and their families. And tell me where you were and the first thing you thought when you heard about this tragedy.

I will never forget the sick feeling I felt on that day watching/hearing 9/11 unfold. I had just dropped my daughter off with the sitter and I was on my way to NC for a job interveiw; I heard someone say on the radio ,"this is an act of terrorism, when I got home, I saw the buildings collapse. As americans, we all were affected- God bless all that have lost loved ones on that dreadful day.

I have not actually seen this movie, but I wonder whether it seems tasteless to those who lost loved ones in this disaster. I know they advertise it as a survival story, but it still brings to mind the fact that many didn't survive!
I thought the same thing about the "Titanic", even though it was longer ago.

I Was At Home. I Had Just Woken Up, I Was 8 Months Pregnant. I Woke Up To Static On The T.V.
I Thought My 6 Yr. Old Son Had Done Something To The T.V. I Yelled At Him....Then I Changed The Channel...That's When I Saw It...The Tower On Fire. Then I Saw The Second Plane Hit.
