I'm not talking about beating the hell out of children, but parents smacking their own as a form of discipline. What right have the govornment, a bunch of Social Workers, and so called child protection organisations got to interfere in how parents bring up their own flesh and blood?? Isnt it simply imposing their own ideology on something that should have nothing to do with them? Nanny State/Big Brother gone too far?

I live in the wonderful state of Maine and the non smokers are trying to pass a new law that if you are driveing a car with anyone under the age of 18 you can be stopped by the police and have to pay a hugh fine Iam a non smoker and I feel this is not right next we will be going into your homes and aresting you for smokeing lets not stop there maybe we dont like the programs you watch we will arrest you for that or the way you dress or the way you look when is all this going to stop last I looked if you are over 21 you can drink and smoke what do you think??

My aunt died on November 22nd in a one car accident(she lost control of her truck). I have googled her, I have checked the online edition of the newspaper in her city(Martin Kentucky- Floyd County Times) but can find nothing!!! I would think that given how she died there would be some sort of article on her. The only thing I have found is an online obituary at the funeral home's website. That's it..Anyone know how I can find any info on her???

responsible is still out there free. I lost my brother in 9/11. His sons joined the army out of respect for him, so that his death wouldn't go unavenged. They believed in the what the admistration said and even stayed true after it was brought to light that this same admisnistration lied to them. 8 months ago I lost one of my nephews, 31 hours ago I lost the other one. There will be no one now to keep our family bloodline going and for the first time even I am asking how much more does this country and the people in it have to lose? My brothers kids were good ones, full of promise. One in med school and the other in law school. So, tell me if this war is the right thing how come we only see more death and tragedy. Sadam was brought down long ago has that put a dent in the killing? And when will the man who took my brother's life be brought down? When do we spend more time on finding him? Maybe someone out there can help me see what my nephews died believing in, cause I just don't...
