Unfortunately, there are demented fruitcakes in the world.

It's not why it had to happen, it is why it did happen. Our belif that others are inherently good, I still believe most people are.
I find it disgusting that some would use their religion as a shield to commit mass murder. How can such a large group of people all believe this would have made the world a better place by destroying 2 buildings and killing thousands of others.
It has served to empower us with strength and endurance to take the fight to them and not be scared into hiding.

The only way I myself can deal with this horriable thing is to ask God to help me understand. In my personal thoughts I think it was a way to help control the human population. It really blows that things like that have to happen, but that is the way the world is. If you think about it every so often we have a huge thing that takes away a lot of our friends and family at one time. We may never get over this pain of loosing them, but we have to know that they are in a better place watching over us.My prayer is with you and your family. I hope you are not offended with what I had to say here.

well, it didnt happen personally to your dad's best friend. It was an attack on America. sorry to hear that u have that burden.
But America brainwash their soldiers and go and blow up the whole f***ing world, so you can call it Karma.. or to those Christians in the house.. what you reap is waht you'll sow.
Think of the Vietnamese, the Iraqis whose lives were ruined.
Im not against america, but against their politics.
It had to happen y'know!
and if they continue lying to the world, saying we're under threat by the Arabs etc.... they need to address the fact that THEY are the bloody threat!

First, I am indeed sorry for your dad and for all those suffered. Though there is no answer as to why such things happen, yet some unwanted things happened earlier too and perhaps would happen in future as well. None can stop such happenings.

Unfortunatly those poor innocent souls paid the price for American foreign policy.America has backed right-wing terrorists arond the world (calling them freedom fighters).Remember Vietnam,a country 10,000 miles from America?9/11 was long overdue.America has claimed 3,00 lives were lost, but many were not American citizens, yet they claimed them.
