I will never forget, none of us will I don't think. I was at home sleeping on the settee as I had only just had life saving surgery and was feeling very low anyway. Watching the scenes unfold in the saddest thing I think I've ever seen. I'm not American but did I ever feel pity for that nation on that day. We will never forget....nore should we.

I was at home. Stoned watching the late news (Australia) boyfriend next to me asleep. it was about 10.45pm. Then the reporter said 'Now to some Breaking News.' & the live picture came up on t.v. I couldnt believe what i was seeing! I didnt even know what the world trade centre was or even what a terrorist was. So i didnt suspect that this was on purpose. But i kept thinking how could they crash into a building by accident? Then i saw live on t.v the next plane hitting the other building & i just couldnt believe it. i thought who on earth would do something like this. i didnt know there were people on this earth that could have so much hate. The reporter was in shock & didnt know what to say. she just kept saying 'oh dear, oh dear' you could see she was really emotional. i just kept saying oh my god, oh my god!!! i just never thought anyone would do somthing like that. Especially in the united states. I guess i was very naive!

Teaching an IT class, showing my students how to get live news feeds from the internet! I opened up a video link just to demonstrate, in time to see the second tower hit! Brought the lecture to a halt, naturally!

I was driving from my Calculus class at the local college extension back to high school when I heard the news on the radio. We spent most of the day then glued to the TV and Internet.

Praying and watching in horror as so many americans lost their lives and their loss of life changed their families lives forever.

I still am so proud of all the fellow americans who gave their time, effort and talents to help find anyone alive. I commend you all and will never forget your heroism!
