On the news lately has been an ongoing argument about lake Baikal. Do you think the people who live around lake Baikal should have the largest say in what happens to the lake? why? why is the lake so important to them?

My company is doing "man on the street" interviews for a project and I need to have the company's logo put on this piece. Hope I'm not confusing anyone, it looks like it might be made out of plastic, either square or a triangle and has the station name (NBC) or logo (peacock) so you can see it in a crowd of microphones. Thanks.

I was watching a football game on Thanksgiving on Fox. It was the middle of the afternoon, so a lot of younger children could potentially be exposed to the programming. A spot came on advertising one of their primetime shows. During the ad, the main character made the comment "There is no Santa Claus." - or something similar. Should they have taken care in airing this during this time?

My tutor at college told us this would be our discussion for the morning, and we had to give for and against points... so I'm after other peoples opinions.

Say if an obese person travels on a plane, and they're taking up half of the next seat beside them because of their weight, do you believe they should pay for both of those seats, which they are essentionally using?

I personally think yes. I can understand how it might be seen as discrimination and I don't like anyone to feel like they're are personally targeted... But why should that person sitting next to them, have to pay the price for a whole seat, when they only get half of it and are in uncomfortable conditions during the whole flight. Some may say "But it may not be there fault, they might have medical/health conditions", which i completely understand, but then again, it wouldn't be the person they're sitting next to's fault either.

What are your views?
