I believe she was far too ( worldly) intelligent and had so much love for her boys to make a decision to ride
with a profoundly intoxicated driver . It just doesn't gel!
The USA considered her their princess as well and we LOVED her.

Killed you see Charles would have never been able to remarry if she was alive and that nasty Bowels sea hag had it in for her that's for sure-she's a nasty creature!
