All I see when I look through papers like The Express, Daily Mail etc all I see is sensationalism and speculation, which celeb's got cellulite this week and how everything is to be blamed on the ethnic minorities. Even news channels like the BBC and Sky News are shoddy and I've yet to see a balanced report in all sources mentioned above. The only paper I can find which offers balanced reports is the Times!

I believe the media have a lot to answer for. They create hatred and uproar and only seem to focus on negative issues and this really frustrates me. Why can't they just report things which have happened and offer a fair and balanced piece. What has happened to journalism and the media? They're fuelling the fires of the ignorant causing fear and hatred in society. What do you think should be done? Do you have the same opinion?

To have a newpaper you need news content. Who would be the best and cheapest full test news source? We are a non-profit 501C3 and can't spend much money.

Foreign Affairs magazine has been doing a series for a while now on each candidate's foreign policy views. National Review takes a look at Huckabee's article. Tell me what you think.

I am most familiar with John McCain and Hillary Clinton. Know about Rudy G. but, the fact is, all the media coverage so far only seems to be headline and emotional pandering. I blame the media, myself. Media has an immense capability of keeping us informed about the candidates. They are not stupid, the omissions are no accident. They insult the ordinary people's intelligence and vital needs to be informed voters. You opinion?

I'm 20 years old, working as the Sports Editor for a daily newspaper in the Texas Panhandle. After having been the Sports Editor for a year, we've decided it might be best for me to broaden my horizons and give a weekly column in the Opinion section a shot. I usually have one or two sports-related columns a week, but this is my chance to write about anything I want, any topic I want. But I'm drawing blanks.

Actually writing the column isn't the problem at all - I can spit a good 20-30" story out in five minutes. But I just have no idea what to write about. Our readers are people of every age group, gender, race, everything. But I want to show my sarcastic sense of humor to the community, but also show them my articulate side at the same time. I have a good head on my shoulders, damnit.

I guess I just have a major case of writer's block. Any ideas? I'll write about anything, no matter how obscure. It's just thinking of something - that's the hard part.

I'm considering launching a real estate or property guide in my local area and have a few ideas for the title, but am not sold on any of them in particular.

Can anyone think of a fantastic name for such a publication? Basically, it will be either a weekly or monthly publication. It will be feature advertisements from local real estate agents and I hope also mortgage brokers and the like, plus perhaps removalists etc. It will also contain articles related to the real estate industry and moving home etc, property features and agent profiles.

All suggestions welcome! :)
