I feel sorry for anyone who wastes their brain cells on lame tv shows. As for me, I'd rather watch the news, classy specials and other programming, high-quality movies, educational television (PBS, Discovery, History Channel, A&E), even the Food Network.

That is the opinion that entertainment we have now days is causing the over all intelligence of Society to drop, often referring to shows books and games which require little to no thinking, and provide no real stimulation for the intelligence centers of the mind. This is because that is what people expect of their entertainment, people work all day they don't want to think, at least that's the opinion of the entertainment industry, it's also cheaper to write and produce mindless drivel.

television is just garbage today! Why even bother paying your cable bill because you are just wasting money. I don't even watch t.v because of that crap!
