Could Paranoia be a cause?

Eight people died & five were injured as a result of Robert Hawkin's sick mind. He said in one of the three suicide notes left behind, that he wanted to go out in style. Well, why did he have to kill those eight people, before taking his own life? He even shot a "teddy bear." I don't know if the killer was paranoid or not, but he was certainly a sick person. My question is why was he not on his medication & why did he have the type of gun he had, especially since he was 19 y/o ? Was it stolen or was it made available to him at home? I feel so badly for the families who lost their loved ones, especially so close to the holidays. We never know about tomorrow do we?

I think we need to wake up. How many shootings do we need to have to make people realize that things aren't working? Something is missing in these young people's lives. It is sad that these young people can only think of something like this is the answer. Whatever happened to it takes a community to raise a child. People don't even know their neighbors. They don't care what the neighbor's kids are doing.
I wonder what was going through his mind when he walked into that store with that gun and not one person said a word to him. Nobody noticed him until he started shooting.

Weren't there some other shootings in malls in the past week or so? I think that this kid was a copy cat. He saw how much press the other shootings received and wanted some for himself.
BTW, where in the hell did he get that assault rifle? Aren't those things illegal?
I have absolutely no sympathy for this kid, or any other crazy person who decides to kill people at random. Hope he rots in hell.

I doubt is paranoia.Is probably some guy that got played again and go sick of it.Job,government,friends,family can all drive you to this

Christian's with guns = trouble.
Christians with guns who get fired from their job at McDonalds the week before = crazy shooter.

I think it is a sad outcome for a disturbed young man. It's even more sad that he took other souls with him.
