Subject: your deleted question..

Message: Dear TruthSeeker. I've had the same thing happen to me. I was emailed by someone who told me that a good number of the controversial questions are posted by Yahoo employees just to stir things up. These types of questions are usually posted in areas where religious/gay/lesbian/govt/immigration issues are discussed. Anything liberal is allowed to stand and anything conservative is bleeped out. I am beginning to think that someone very high up/hidden is using this forum to gauge or swing public opinion. I once spoke for 15 minutes at my local city council meeting when they tried to pass a resolution to condemn the immigration raids of last year. I'll tell you which side I spoke for if you email me, but I had 6 T.V. cameras in my face, which included 3 hispanic international networks (I am hispanic). When the 11 P.M. news came around, I took to flipping channels, and I didn't appear for one second...So, tell me, is there free speech? I hope to hear from you..Fernando..

They will be using previously classified documents to discuss many well-documented cases. It will be moderated by Fife Symington, Former Arizona Governor, serving during the famous Phoenix lights a few years ago. The number and credentials of the panelists is impressive too...former high-ranking government, aviation, and military officials from seven countries to discuss close encounters with UFOs. Representatives from France, England, Belgium, Chile, Peru, Iran and the US will call for the US Government to join in an international dialogue and re-open its investigation – which the Air Force shut down over 30 years ago – in cooperation with other governments currently dealing UFO phenomena. While on active duty, the panelists have either witnessed a UFO incident or have conducted an official investigation into UFO cases relevant to aviation safety and national security.

I'd love to see this live. Anyone know if it is being televised or covered on the Internet?

The national news network that once brought us Huntley and Brinkley, John Chancellor, and Tom Brokaw, apparently wanted to give Ms. O'Donnell a daily program on MSNBC, which, in more than eleven years on the air, has not developed one well watched news program. Not one.

In the round-the-clock Nielsen ratings for October, the latest survey, MSNBC averaged a paltry 178,000 viewers per hour. That's down 9% from October '06.

By contrast, Fox News tripled that delivery !!!

And Liberals still don't get it !!

Thus, in desperation, NBC News turned to Ms. O'Donnell, a woman who asserts that the United States military has killed more than 650,000 Iraqi citizens, claims that 9/11 was an inside job, and rants that Evangelical Christians are just as threatening as al-Qaeda !!!!!!!!! Huh?

The entire nation now knows that NBC is an extension of the Far Left Wing Ultra Liberal propaganda machine. But to even consider to hire Rosie O'Donnell confirms it !

What say you?

I'm going to be digitalizing hundreds of slides and movie film. Once I do that, I'm going to throw the film away UNLESS there is some value to it. Is there any silver in the film that gives it any value? Is it enough to sell? Is there any desire for it as a recycle product...and if so who would take it?

Thanks for your thoughts.

BTW, I don't know if this was the best category to put this question, but I couldn't find one that seemed to fit any better.

I have been writing stories since I was young and have always loved it. I saw an ad in a local women's mag, and I really want to apply. Here's the ad:

"If you love writing stories about and for women, we'd love to hear from you. Attention to detail and knowledge of AP style required. Please send resume, three writing clips and a cover letter."

So I am just wondering what kinds of writing clips to send? How long should they be? I have many blogs, but do you suggest they be women related considering that's what the position calls for? Or just an example of how I write? I am not very familiar with AP style either, so any resources would be great! Someone suggested that I get the AP Stylebook, but I wasn't sure.

I really would love to have this opportunity to freelance, but I am not really confident in what to do here!

Thanks for your help.

I can't understand why such a powerful movie that is gathering wide spread attention on the internet is not being talked about in the media. Regardless of whether it is fact or fiction it is becoming a huge deal and seems odd that no "credible" media outlets or politicians are talking about it or at least attempting to debunk it. To me this seems to add more credibility to the message. You can watch the movie at http://zeitgeistmovie.com/.

I was on yahoo.com yesterday, and I finally found the article on the front page - at the bottom, and in really small font, surrounded by a couple of other "mini" articles. Is there some reason why its not that public? I haven't seen it on the news at ALL, and they have known about it since last week! Answers?

I find this site to be very fair in reporting, don't you agree?

I also think Anne Enright does owe the McCanns an apology and that her publisher should never have allowed that book on it's press. Do you agree?
