Clearing up some points on the McCann case. Please read?

I find this site to be very fair in reporting, don't you agree?

I also think Anne Enright does owe the McCanns an apology and that her publisher should never have allowed that book on it's press. Do you agree?

This writer should stick to the things she does well. Writing books of fiction. To say she suspected Kate by the way she looked is ridiculous to say the least. Yes she should apologize unreservedly.

Yes fair reporting. No definitely not an apology. Anne Enright is entitled to her opinion just like the rest of us. Good for her not being worried by the McCanns influence. I am surprised the McCanns did not try and stop her book or threaten to sue like they have done to everyone else who dares to say anything against them. Good for her publisher and well done everyone who buys a copy of her book.

Until Madeleine is found, or they have conclusive evidence that the parents are innocent of her disappearance (Although they did cause this due to them leaving her alone!)
Then I think, no why should she apologise!
They have gotten away with a lot worse!

I think she did apologise or backtrack her comment, anyway. And yes, I thought it was a very small minded attempt to get soem publicity through the disappearance of a small child.

I think there is so much speculation, it is best to ignore it all!
