Global warming is a myth

Yeah it makes me think a lot of stuff I'd never say in front of a six-year-old too, I know what you mean.
Actually, I just watched it too, and (coupled with the fact that my mom was canning pumpkins, and thats about the worst smell EVER), I felt nauseated by the time it was over. So many of the things he said were flat-out lies. Like that part where he said that there wasn't really anyone opposing his view, and that the debate was over. I don't even know how he could say that! That is such an obvious lie that it just exposes the rest of the crap he's telling us, however clever and "moving" his rhetoric is.
I just have to quote part of a book called "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming and Environmentalism" that expressed my thoughts of that movie. The author, Christopher C. Horner, says this:
"With Gore having 'gone Hollywood,' a scouring of the rankings of 'top movies of all time' seemed appropriate, and revealed that indeed most of the appropriate titles for Gore's film were taken: Pulp Fiction, The Usual Suspects, Psycho, Apocalypse Now,...A Man for All Seasons,...The Man Who Would Be King, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest...the list goes on."
That movie was a pack of lies, but to someone who didn't know any better, it could be pretty convincing. If people would just research both sides of the debate, then they would see how weak and speculative the science behind Al's theory is (and, not to mention, how a lot of it isn't even real science).

You know, you are right.I saw a show the other night about ghost too.Now Im scared to go out in the dark.Hey,maybe we can make the sun stay up all the time and then it will never get dark.End of problem.
But that would'nt be good for global warming would it?Maybe we should ask old Al what he thinks.lol

The great manbearpig hunter makes me think too.

Thinking about a multi-million dollar 3 card monte game I might be able to run on the whole damn world right now.

What should I call it? Too bad Global Warming is already taken. That one would work great.

People like playing that game.

It makes you think alright... why did someone spend good money on that video.

Another documentary was done exposing all of the half-truths and BS that was mentioned in that film.

The movie has been heavily criticized for getting some facts
wrong. It does point out one basic truth-global warming is
here and it's not going away. Only those oblivious to the real
world deny this. Religious faith and wishful thinking are powerful forces in our society, but they can't influence the
physical world. Those who deny global warming are the same
people who would have thought the world was flat if they had
lived when Columbus discovered America.

In fact, they would have thought Columbus and his sailors were all frauds out to con the King and Queen of Spain.

It makes me think how fortunate it is that George W. Bush won the 2000 election over Gore.

I didn't see it but honestly I wouldn't need to see it to say that it would be utter bullshit. -- Politics nowadays are either (1) utter bulshit or (2) aggression and the killing of innocent people. My hero George Gallway said it: --> "They believe in fighting to the last drop of other people's blood !" -- How true !.

The movie is loosing credibility all the time. Please keep in mind that the issues he presents as facts are really speculation. We know that the planet is warming, and the evidence goes back a couple hundred years. We also know that the normal climate for earth is warmer than it is now. Al has always had an attitude - going back 15 years - "You are Americans and everything is your fault." So please don't allow yourself to become distraught over his movie.
