I have just watched a number of gang postings glorifying drugs, violence, knife and gun crime mostly amongst what appears to be teenage boys.

You tube needs to take responsibility for these posts. This type of activity of glorification is killing our youths.

They should remove them now and stop profiting from murder.

TV news channels repeat news items for several times in a day and for several days. The news like breaking roof by ice slab etc. which is not going to help any one or not going to increase general knowledge.News of a boy in bore well were showed like live cricket match till the boy was out of the well.In fact it could be given as one of the news item of few minutes for the progress made.Even statements are repeated different ways in the same item. First reporter talks live and the same is told by the reader to the viewers again and again as if viewers are either partially deaf or do not have understanding capacity. It appears that in absence of more stuff, reader is killing time of the viewer.

& radio newsstations and national news networks?

By the word "integrity" I really refer to News Reporting integrity which I logically contend is compromised across the journalistic spectrum when sports reporting is compromised by the mutual interests by all parties in the revenues generated from pushing (selling& promoting) sports that are now mega- money businesses. One example David Beckham, the soccer player.

Please understand I am not questioning the "freedom of the press."
I am asking what is the definition of "the press"
What do you have to produce? A publication? A television production?
Or can I incorporate a name, declare that name as a press or news publication then have access to all the rights and protections that fall under "freedom of the press"

President Gerald Ford was asked by BIll Clinton to "get him out of the impeachment mess" after his affair with Monica Lewinsky. Ford, in his recently published book, agreed to if Clinton would simply admit he lied. Clinton refused.
1.) What would he classify, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman". as?

Whats equally as troubling is when another president goes on record stating the obvious about this lack of ethics and candor in the white house, why is it that most if not all liberals in this forum are willing to give Hilllary a pass here thinking she was an "innocent bystander, and " didnt know"? How can anyone, supposedly, so astute and aware to campaign for president of the united states not know whats going on around here to this degree?
Liberals may buy it, I surely dont!

At what point will the ongoing Diana inquiries exhaust all legal avenues? Is this likely to occur in the near future, and do you expect media, if not public, interest to tail off at that point?

Does anyone answering this question genuinely care about the outcome, or view it as nationally important? If so, please give the reasons for this.

"R" or "D"...What's the big deal? So they made another typo again... Multiple times...

Maybe they are not the sinister peddlers of right-wing agenda of a fascist dictator of a president.. Maybe they are just bad spellers?

PLEASE NOTE: Before you decide to report me for posting this in the wrong section, although FOX's news hardly qualifies to be journalism, Yahoo doesn't yet have a "LIARS" section yet.

I wrote a few opinionated articles and I'd like to try and get at least one of them published. I'm not considering a career as a writer I just want to give it a shot.
I have them copyrighted and everything but I don't know where to send them. Does anyone know where the names and addresses of some magazines where I can submit my articles? The only ones I can think of are Time and Newsweek and I severely doubt such a large publication is going to take work from an amateur.

Hello all, There was a shooting over the weekend close to the local bar. The shooting did not happen at the bar or have any patrons invovled, but news reports keep saying it did. The owner is furious and would like to lodge a complaint but does not who keeps local news in check. Does any one know who it is that they should contact?

What do you think about the negative portrayal of blacks in the news media?
I have done reserach but it is incomplete because white crime is not reported. The media wants everybody to believe that blacks are a welfare group who wants to blame the white race for enslaving it. I have research this topic and have found that peope who work for the news media are told that negativity sells. They distort the truth and this is very sad.

In his latest column, called "Impeach George Bush?" Buckley spells out what Clinton was impeached for, without going into the personal context of the investigation.

He then goes on to dismiss meaningful and important charges against Bush in proposed articles of impeachment, as "everything this side of a parking ticket".

Those charges include waging an illegal war of agression, deliberately misleading Congress and the American people in reasons for waging war, breaking FISA law by spying on American citizens without getting easily obtainable warrants, breaking international treaties which, as such, are the law of the land in America, such as the Geneva Conventions and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Buckley describes Nixon's impending impeachment, before he resigned, as "inevitable."
It is clear to anyone with eyes to see that the scale and magnitude of Bush's offenses make Nixon look like a boy scout in comparison.

this past summer Michigan had over 20,000 acres burned and it wasn't on the news everynight. It happens in CA where those movie stars live and it's covered 24-7. And what about people wanting to donote free hotel rooms to those millionaires in need? I am sure they have another gigantic home someplace else to go to.
