President Gerald Ford was asked by BIll Clinton to "get him out of the impeachment mess" after his affair with Monica Lewinsky. Ford, in his recently published book, agreed to if Clinton would simply admit he lied. Clinton refused.
1.) What would he classify, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman". as?

Whats equally as troubling is when another president goes on record stating the obvious about this lack of ethics and candor in the white house, why is it that most if not all liberals in this forum are willing to give Hilllary a pass here thinking she was an "innocent bystander, and " didnt know"? How can anyone, supposedly, so astute and aware to campaign for president of the united states not know whats going on around here to this degree?
Liberals may buy it, I surely dont!

She knew and was "mad she didn't do more"* (in a different way). There's too much water under the bridge and let's face it when comparing a Jr. senator vs someone that ran the 19th largest economy in the world, during complete h*ll and there is no comparison. Don't forget that what he was able to fix there is the same set of problems the nation faces now.

Interesting, this book is published after Gerald Ford's death. These are comments he supposedly made to a reporter. Can these statements be verified? When Ford was President many were outraged at his wife's addiction with drugs and alcohol and support of women's rights. Her approval rating was low and many called her "No Lady". Should people have questioned Gerald as a spouse as he "didn't know" and was an "innocent bystander" in his wife's addictions? What is the difference in Gerald's past issues as your question regarding Hillary Clinton and her marital problems? This is nothing more than political propaganda by the conservatives to TRY to take the heat off the Bush administration's failures.

"Gramstofour" hit the nail on the head. The first step in getting your addiction treated is to admit you are addicted. In the case of William Jefferson Clinton the addiction appeared to be Satyriasis.
Even though I'm a conservative, I can accept that Hillary Rodham Clinton didn't know about the business involving Monica Lewinsky. The Executive Mansion is a fairly large building with a lot of compartmentalized areas. The First Lady has offices and space in the East Wing. The President in the West Wing. It lends itself to the creation of separate lives.

I'm willing to vote for Chavez over any liberal candidate. All he would do is try to put Bush in jail.

Hillary is a liar, too. She's just not as good at getting away with it as her husband. One of the reason her negatives are so high.

What exactly is your question? Why can't he see that? Most people who have addictions don't even think they have one. They think everyone else is wrong and they are so right.
