How is Fox News like the Mormon Church?

Are they all working to conceal the truth about the way the public are being ripped off by the existing powers i.e. the petro-chemical companies, and the Conservatives?

They don't like solutions that expose the lies, do they?
They never print / publish stories that actually enlighten or help us wise-up to what's going on. They only regurgitate the problems we have, over and over again, trying to stir the murky boggy mud. The truth, the whole truth is never mentioned.

Lt. Gen. Ricardo Sanchez, retired Iraq commander, speech at the Military Reporters & Editors convention, Fri 10/12, was widely covered by the national press and TV. Their reporting all focused on his criticism of the Bush administration for inadequate strategy and prosecution of the war.

Yet 60% of his speech was a condemnation of the media. Press and TV. Neither the New York Times nor Associated Press reported this. Nor did CBS radio news hourly updates on Sat

Sanchez said that the media have lost their sense of ethics. That members of the media blow stories out of proportion and are unwilling to correct mistakes, that this media environment is doing a great disservice to the nation.

He further said “you report with total impunity and are rarely held accountable for unethical conduct and the truth is of little to no value if it does not fit your own preconceived notions, biases and agendas.

His comments were a scathing condemnation of the press yet went unreported. Why

I get my local paper, but i want to subscribe to a more political newspaper, that has more political/government news

Im thinking of getting the New York Times or the Wall Street Journal, because they are both relatively cheap [for home delivery] and have heard that they are good for that type of news....

Which one is better for me to get?

Why don't they get on and do their job of REPORTING, instead of playing guessing games ?
I'm sick of the McCann story, sick of why Ming Campbell went, sick of who killed Diana.
I'd rather wait until the truth comes out , then read about it.

Whether it's local news or cable, it's women doing news, women doing weather and women doing features. Of course, I use the term "news" very loosely.

No offense, but it's hard to take those chirpy high voices at 6AM. I'd rather have some gravitas in the morning.

I mean really....the conservatives have their own network (Fox News) and are adding a second (Fox Business). The radio airwaves are filled with conservative pundits on all of the Clear Channel radio stations (Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage, Medved, Dr. Laura). Even the stations that are more middle of the road have several far right commentators. CNN has Glenn Beck. MSNBC has Tucker Carlson and Joe Scarborough.

Meanwhile, the "liberal media" has the New York Times and Air America (which has been relegated by Clear Channel to the weakest stations they can find).

I don't get it.

I watched Dr. Phil today and can certainly understand their view. I almost feel like going out and buying the book just to burn it.
I had watched Oprah when she interviewed Nicole's sister and she was so opposed to the books publication. Nowhere in that interview was it revealed that the children had signed off and were due to receive royalties had the book been published differently.
These children should be getting money from the same civil suit as the Goldman's and so far their father has proved himself for what he is by finding ways to cheat them out of that.
Sentence the man for any crime you can hang on him and it's not soon enough. How many people think like me?
