A close friend of the Clintons is heading up a huge merger of the tabloid newspapers....you know, the kind that are in the checkout aisles. Do you think that now we will no longer get the 'special' news about the Clintons? Sounds as if the Clintons will get 'special treatment' by the press from now on.....and this is just ONE WAY to manipulate what people see and hear. Whatever happened to freedom of the press???

I think it is a big joke when news stations run adds telling us how they are here for us and they are our friends. I find our news media a joke and I rarely find them telling the truth. They take little blurbs out of complete conversations and edit it to mean what they want it to mean and they can either hang or make a person by doing this. I think it is wrong. I feel that when they take everything out of context they are out right lying to the American people. Does any one else feel this way?

The President gets a lot of his daily report of information from top news sources does that suggest undue influence of the media on the government? After all media is what gets a lot of candidates office and gets out their plans.

theres this staff writer on our school newspaper and he wants to me to run his artical about our schools race relation problems. I don't. Negative news will sell better then positive news so I'm sure the positive news is never reported. I listen to what my service member friends in Iraq say. They are a far better source then the media.
