how does news reporting differ between tv and newspapers?

tv gives you the news, most times, as it happens, and with the newspaper you gotta wait til next day. An advantage to buying the newspaper is if you dont have a chance to watch the news nightly like some people.

If we refer to the same market(e.g. local newspaper and local TV news)The TV news is more focused on visual stories, has much less depth and covers fewer stories. The papers go into great detail to insure the reader understands the story. They are able to give even smaller market coverage by including numerous small towns around the central city. And they can add pages for little additional cost when needed.

nothing its just most shops offer a newspaper over coffee and no tv. Also if you see something on the news it can be a breif description so you read about it to find out in more detail

in tv you will only listen to the new presenter only. he may miss out some important word or misinterpret the meaning of the real event. in addition if you do not listen properly then he will not repeat the same thing.(in newspaper you can refer back anytime).one of the advantage in tv is to display the event in video better than picture in newspaper.
