theres this staff writer on our school newspaper and he wants to me to run his artical about our schools race relation problems. I told him that we would make it less objective and run it next issue, but he said he wanted it in this issue. I asked him why, and he said it need to be run as soon as possible.

Sounds like it's a personal issue to me.I'd find out for sure first. Ask him what the rush is.

Is the article accurate and truthful? Why would you make it less objective? What is being done now to address the issues?

Has the school administration been given an opportunity to provide their perspective?
