I think it is a big joke when news stations run adds telling us how they are here for us and they are our friends. I find our news media a joke and I rarely find them telling the truth. They take little blurbs out of complete conversations and edit it to mean what they want it to mean and they can either hang or make a person by doing this. I think it is wrong. I feel that when they take everything out of context they are out right lying to the American people. Does any one else feel this way?

I completely agree. I use to switch channels to get different perspectives on an event. It was like they both could not be reporting the same event. I finally gave up and catch the weather but not much else. It seem that opinion has taken over for news. Even tragic events are given a political slant. And it is always one sided, even when they supposedly have different points of view.

Decide what you want to hear and listen to that channel.

Absolutely. I agree. I dont watch or listen to TV or radio at all - except for my favorite programs. Certainly not for the news. I get all my news from the Internet.

And to the person who said "Name your source" - she was offering an opinion, but if you want proof, check out the What Really Happened website.
