The President gets a lot of his daily report of information from top news sources does that suggest undue influence of the media on the government? After all media is what gets a lot of candidates office and gets out their plans.

all it is ,is 1 big lie after another thats all i dont beleive what he says ever the goverment we have now is a big joke that all in dont really care about there lies they tell the americans here in the usa i mean the true american not all these wanna be;s out here trying to be some thing they are not you want to be a true american go fight the war we have gang members out here killing them selfs over nothing for ever in ever they need to join the army marones in the air force just like ever body elsa has i did for 12 years in lost my right eyes in left leg in 3 fingers pff my hand so be ture to your self in proud when you say that you call your self american in not with paper from another country big deal that stuff dont mean nothing at all

I don't think that is true of this President. They all get briefing reports from their staff. I think Bush relies on these reports while Clinton was a Newspaper reader. Since they have staff to go though the news they are able to have someone check the accuracy of reports when they want. Of course if they cannot get their intelligence reports correct, who knows what they get from the media.

He doesn't only get his news from what the "conventional wisdom" and the "opinion makers" consider to be "top news sources". He is presented with a daily report that includes information from U.S. and off-shore sources, including reports sent in by various U.S. Embassies throughout the world.
