Buried in the New Yorker and yet uncovered by Paul Joseph Watson is an item by George Packer about "instructions" handed-down from on-high by Cheney's office–call it Neocon Central–to sell the attack of Iran to the American people. Packer quotes Barnett Rubin, described as having "connections to someone at a neoconservative institution in Washington," and this institution, likely the American Enterprise Institute, where Bush gets his criminal "minds," has instructed the complaisant corporate media to sell the attack.

have u heard the news??? i heard in VOA NEWS that 21 prisoners were executed today in iran . 4 of them were executed in a city square infront of ppl. other 17 in prison !!!!

I understand how they're doing it, CBS is using technology that hides facial lines and wrinkles by slightly blurring anthing in a selected color range.

But WHY?

Given that General Petreus wants to keep his job and that the White House is going to publish the report how can we POSSIBLY believe one word of it? How could it be ANYTHING but a phony rosy picture of how things are in Iraq? I've been getting a phone call every sunday afternoon for the past month now from the number 888-888-8888. I answered it one time and there was a women on the line with a heavy jamaican accent telling me i won 2000 dollars. It just annoys me because i know it's bullshit and immediatly she wants all of my information so i tell her no. If she calls again i'll ask to be removed from the calling list. I dont know if this has happened to anyone on yahoo answers. Another time i kept getting phone calls from an area code with a plus sign in front of it so i went on google and typed it in. that number came up as one that was being involved in a phone scam originating from Jamaica and they use a fake US area code somehow like theyre really calling you from the United States! If they don't take me off theyre calling list what can i do?

If we really want equality, and the constitution of the United States is the best ruling document and not just a person or a group of people, what are we going to do to keep it that way? Does being the melding pot mean that we throw the constitution out the door and only do and say what is politically correct? Just asking what you think, honestly?
