Am I alone in severely disliking the way tv news broadcasts have changed, including the BBC and ITV? I can't stand all the exaggeration and opinion that gets into the headline reports these days. Those who write the autocue scripts seem to think they are constructing plots for EastEnders.

Does anyone else think that the stories covered are getting dafter, too? In 2003, Sky interrupted their regular schedule with the "urgent breaking news" that former footballer George Best had been sat in a pub for a few hours one afternoon...unsurprising, as he had an alcohol habit for over 30 years. They sent out a crew of reporters and broadcast live from outside the pub. I kid you not.

Just simply read the news, newscasters, you are not Jeremy Sodding Kyle.

Anyone with me? What say you?

Gosh, now he is setting up a unoffical sting opperation.
He is one of the worse socio-paths that I have ever seen.
He gets by with murder. Then gets quilty verdic in civil court. He writes a book about what he would of done if he had done it.
Sick!
And now he is in trouble again with the law and he smiles at the camera and is getting lots of media attention. And he is so clueless. What is up with him??? And please don't buy his book. ok?

Every magazine or tabloid I see once in a while there still comes up "something new" about the JonBenet case of whether or not her mother did it or whoever else. Now don't get me wrong, I believe what happened to that little girl was horrible and nobody deserves it. But why should she make headlines because she's rich, blonde and white pageant girl when there are children in third world African, South American, Asian, and even some European countries who are starving and dying every single day yet not even one soul notices.

Even in America, there are kids of all races that go missing. So why should a little rich white girl get all the news but yet innocent kids in the inner cities of hispanic, black, asian, and even some of the working class whites go missing daily and they never make even a dot in the newspaper. What does that say about our society?

Does anyone know an online source to find out what announcers-play-by-play and analyst/analysts-are broadcasting various sporting events over national over-the-air and sports-specific networks? I know that USA Today prints a list for the NFL games during the season but I cannot always get that paper. Why do I want this information? You might call me an announcer junkie. Several years ago, I wanted to be a sportscaster-I no longer want to be-but I am still extremely fascinated with broadcasters , particularly which broadcasters CBS and Fox have working NFL games. I cannot get NFL Sunday Ticket on DirecTV. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Air Force has announced an investigation into the Aug. 30 B-52 bomber flight, which was first disclosed by the Military Times newspaper. The bomber carried six nuclear-tipped air-launched cruise missiles, instead of the planned inert warheads, from Minot Air Force Base, N.D., to Barksdale Air Force Base, La.

The military said that the investigation must answer why the ground crew mistakenly selected and loaded the six live warheads!
