Yes you are right, and results are due back, next week I believe, from the British Forensic Science Service with regard to the traces of DNA found in an apartment near to the one occupied by the McCanns. Dr O'Brien and Miss Tanner stayed in the apartment next door to the McCanns, so I read, but don't know if that's correct.

I read that Portuguese police are concerned that unless they find Madeleine's body they will not be able to secure a conviction, and that the McCanns' lawyer has told them it would be hard to prove they killed her unless the body is found. I don't believe that's true - there have been convictions for murder, have there not, where no body was found. I am pretty confident that if British police were to question Mr and Mrs McCann, they have the expertise to know whether they are telling the truth or not.

But until the complete picture emerges, I wouldn't like to condemn anyone who might later turn out to be completely innocent. Comparisons have been drawn with the Lindy Chamberlain case but because Lindy Chamberlain turned out to be innocent (in a case that happened over 20 years ago when DNA had only recently been discovered) it doesn't necessarily follow that this case will be the same.

I don't know whether Kate and/or Gerry McCann are guilty of anything more than neglecting their children by leaving them alone and enabling someone to come and take their child. I do think there are questions that need to be answered. They need to realise that police have a job to do and can't just accept their word as gospel. If the McCanns have nothing to hide, the best way to prove that is for them and their friends to tell the whole truth, leaving nothing out.

Or maybe I'm being naive.

The "professional's" don't have the authentic information to remark on. no person, no longer the pro's or the anti's be attentive to what got here approximately to that candy baby. The "anti's spout vile rumour, inuendo's, meant leaks, untruths, rumours and only straightforward gossip. It must be very comforting for the McCann's to be attentive to that each and every of the anti's be attentive to the reality till now something of the international does. Oh, and by ability of how, I do watch television and study the newpapers yet I definitely have a strategies of my very own and could make my very own judgements.

Coming from a 'sure someone at the table knows something' stance - Yes, new PR person in line has managed to keep them out the news quite well this last few days (far less coverage) I'm beginning to think there are two other people in that party who might know more than the McCann's though. Could it really be possible that they have no idea what happened to her but someone else at the table did? Or has the PR machine really done a good job on my mind?

Oh they are in overdrive allright. Sending freinds to London to say what wonderful, caring and loving parents they are. Real loving and caring, when they leave 3 children under 4 in an unlocked room in a foreign country. That's undeniable. The constant begging for money, has really put me off. Ok, the findmadeline fund I can live with. That was an outpouring of support for their tragedy. But now with this new hat out for legal costs, that is just plain arrogant. I suppose if Richard Branson want to give them a 100000k he can, he's a billionaire, but to expect the rest of us to pay for their legal costs is appaling. This asking BBC to film them going to church....what a joke. "we want normalcy for the twins". ROFLMAO.

They have gone way over the line of common sense.

This is what makes me wonder about their innocence. All this media propoganda is not normal and would it would not occur to any other grieving parent who's "lost" a child. They McCanns almost seem to relish in their celebrity status. Requesting that the BBC film them visiting church is sickening. Such an awfully obvious ploy to try and win over the public. They make me sick.

I think the "pro mccann machine" has been on overdrive for a while now - but as someone once said - when you create chaos and confusion anything is possible.

we are now at the stage when everyone around them has something to answer for if it's not the chief of police in portugal who is on trial then tomorrow there will be someone else, and so on...

they can try.

i've already made up my mind.
& no amount of what, ifs & buts, will make any difference to the state of play so far.
there's still no madeline.
the mccanns will always be seen as lousy selfish parents.
their "have a little me-time " not only ruined their lives but their innocent twins too,
so they can shove it ( the pro mccann machine ) where the sun don't shine!

Yes now they're trying to re-launch the new 'find madelaine' campaign to distract but the spokepersons keep quiets, hmmm.... have been Phillomena and Uncle John advised to keep their traps shut at least for a while? They're not exactly helping their relatives when they keep acussing the police.

Oh... Yawn. When will all this rubbish end?...... The only person who matters is Maddy and she died a long time ago and no longer knows anything, sadly. This will end up as big a mystery as " who killed JFK...,Marilyn Monroe and Diana ". Conspiracy theories will abound for decades until something more news worthy comes along like ELVIS IS ALIVE AND WELL, RESIDING ON THE MOON.........PLEEZE.
