He had donated thousands of dollars to ultraliberal candidates including Jerry Brown, but not one penny to any conservative candidates. He always attempts to split the Republican party right before the elections. HE is a mockery of what a San Francisco liberal pictures conservatives as. He is a not so clever parody just like GodHAtesFags which demonstartes in front of funerals of little school children just to discredit moral puritans. Anyone have any hard evidence that this man is a liberal agent?

I'm a journalism minor and am in my third year of college. I need to know what the main difference between photography and photojournalism is.
I keep hearing photojournalism is basic common sense but than I always wonder whether it would be beneficial to take it in the end because it would help me out in the long run.

I want to major in journalism and plan in attending UNC's school of mass communications and journalism. So far I have a GPA high enough to get in, but I am debating on what classes I should take to prepare myself for it. Since it is one of the best journalisms school in the nation, I want to be fully prepared. I need advice deciding whether I should take theater arts or digital media (working with cameras, photography, and video). I can only take one or the other because of my honors and AP classes. Some advice would be nice. Also, what other classes do you recomend I take in high school to prepare me?

It is uplifting and inspires hope to see so many intelligent outspoken atheists online. As I look at this forum and others, I see a groundswell of awareness about the horrors and evil of religion.
I notice that is true in daily life too. Whenever I get the chance to talk to people about it, more and more are admitting that they have questioned the whole issue of "faith" and rejected it.

This question isn't about whether or not either philosophy is best, so please don't argue for or against faith. I am just curious if anyone knows WHY we see so many atheists making their voices heard online, but not in mainstream media?

I'm young, growing out of some demographics I guess (just turned 31). I flip through the news channels, read the paper when it's around and read articles online.

When I find something interesting in the news, I look it up online and find the same article, word for word in several places, sometimes with a little variation. If this is the difference in news for the young and old, I see no difference.

I have several problems with the news. Local tv news is laughable no matter where you are. Local news anchors are completely fake. The stories they cover are ridiculous sometimes. In general, all formats of the news are just headlines with no story. Follow ups are rare, even with very interesting, unusual stories.

Anyone have suggestions for credible online news sources that might have something different to say? Where is a good place to find a discussion on news, current events and maybe find some updates?
