Look at the stories they choose to cover and they way they cover them. It looks like a classic liberal media bias.

Here are the headlines as of this moment:

• Wounded U.S. vets also suffer financial woes
• Blackwater guards killed 16 in week of violence
• Hope wanes among protesters in Myanmar
• Gingrich will not run for president in 2008, spokesman says
• Soaring number of aging inmates clog nation's prisons
• Japan's move to privatize postal system to benefit banks
• Chicago suburb tries to stop drivers with humor
* NCAA Football · MLB · NFL · NHL · NASCAR · Golf

It's tough to see a whole lot of potential for bias in that list. The stories may have a slant one way or another, but your question probably reflects your own political leanings.

And that's fine -- you should root for your team.

This will probably come as something of a surprise to you as a "non-thinker", but Yahoo! is a publically-held corporation that is LEGALLY-BOUND to make the most money they can for their shareholders. As such, they are REQUIRED BY LAW to appeal to the widest audience possible (so they can sell lots of advertising and make lots of profit).

If there is a left-wing bias it's because the accountants have determined there are more left-wing customers than right-wing ones!

The whole notion of "liberal media bias" is (if true) PROOF that there are more people with left-of-center beliefs than right--of-center beliefs!

You are being PROFOUNDLY unAmerican...if YOU don't like Yahoo!, the American thing to do would be to quit using it!

That's true. A lot of times they don't have the religion category. But that might be because not many people are using it. You never hear about christian crusades that are drawing crowds in the millions in Africa and India. Or cities that are being transformed from drug infested rat holes into cities that host revival meetings filling up soccer stadiums. You rarely see coverage of the daily chaplains prayers at legislative chambers across the country. GET THIS AMERICA: There is no separation of church and state. It's not in the constituition. And it was not intended to be that way by the founder's. Only activist judges have been quoting a letter from Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptist Church. It's a misinterpretation of the constituition. These decisions are almost impeachable offenses which must be brought by legislatures and the congress which must respond to the people. So write and call your reps with a prayer and a request to get these liberal judges out of our countries politics. Christianity is a part of common law. Precedent law is simply evolutionary law, which is about the same as lawlessness. We have to get back to original intent and remove these ridiculous constituition violating decisions that have removed prayer inschools,approved abortion, and pushing for gay marriages, and now trying to confiscate private property. They will not win this battle. The constituition guarantees us the right to bear arms to protect us from oppressors, which is now our liberal government.They are going to cause great harm to our society if they are not made to rule honestly.

The only bias I have noticed on Yahoo is the OVERWHELMING amount of global warming stories...it is clear that they are convinced that global warming is quite a problem

It is not biased, just the news. What is wrong with you?
