Hi!

Reporting is a field job....so:

the upside is that:

1) U are on the site at grassroots level and reporting first hand

2) U have a close and up-front view of whats happening

3) U get the opportunity to travel widely

4) U learn a lot about people, culture and their problems

5) U meet colleagues from ur own field and learn from them too

6) u can make a difference by being observant, factual and empathetic.....in simple words u can help readers understand , analyse and form opinions.

The downside:

1) its a strenuous and stressful job

2) ur work hours wud be flexible ....some times too long!

3) frequent travel can be very tiring and demanding.

Hope this helps!

Cheers n chin up:)
