I'm in Los Angeles, California in the United States of America. I don't read the newspaper because I find that most of the time the news is a joke. I browse the headlines online. So...right now, this is what Yahoo! has in the local headlines:

Spector jury set to begin deliberations
Mon Sep 10 3:19am EDT
Phil Spector's fame and wealth have become an integral part of music producer's murder trial. Is pop music pioneer Phil Spector a murderer trying to use his wealth to buy an acquittal? Or did prosecutors, eager to put a celebrity behind bars, ignore proof that a troubled Hollywood hanger-on took her own life in Spector's Alhambra mansion?

She died after fiting with cancer at 43 years old on monday.
In 2000 she was told by doctor that she was terminal breast cancer and given six months to live.
After that she decided to devote what remained of her life to raising money for medical charities.
In 2006,yes last year ..she was cycling 6,780 kilometres from San Francisco to New York in the United States over nine weeks .
Meanwhile, she completed the Ironman triathlon ! and done a number of marathons.
Also after the terminal diagnosis, she got a gym membership.
I guess she must have battled against the harmful effects.
She has never gave up .

Scotland....... Jane Tomlinson
Died after a 7 year battle against breast cancer. As a radiographer as her profession. Jane knew more than most what battle she had in front of her. She raised a great deal of money for charity. As another poster has said she travelled all over America in raising funds and awareness of breast cancer. The lady in my opinion is a true heroine. She will no doubt be very sadly missed in all walks of life.

God Bless you Jane and all like you!!
