Sure it has! That's the purpose of the whole story!
Innocent or guilty? I don't care!
I love dogs! I also love human beings and our government is sending thousands of them to kill and die!
I've always said that racism is kept alive in this country as a means to separate the class that should unite! The working class!
Racism distracts us from the real issues like; war, health care, and only having two political parties (that seem to lay on the same bed)!
Racism distracts us from all the heinous acts our leaders commit on our behalf! It keeps us from moving forward and claiming our power!
It keeps us ignorant and attached to one party or another, when they are, actually, two sides of the same coin!
We are so close to being over all this crap! We are almost at a break through point, and this BS story is making us step backwards! Every time a story like this comes out (OJ, Micheal Jackson, Mike Tyson, R.Kelly), we regress in time! It's like a decade of progress is lost!
I beg all African Americans to open your eyes, and see that you ARE being targeted. They WANT you to feel marginalized, they want you to feel discriminated against!
Because then, YOU will keep racism alive!
Don't look at Vick as a "Black Athlete", but as an athlete!
If you fail to do so, "The Mans" mission will be accomplished!
White people!!! Stop criticizing! We kill all sorts of animals! The white man, alone, is responsable for the extinction of hundreds of species! So stop adding fuel to the flames!
I am a man, my skin is white!
But foremost, I am part of the working class! Are you?
If your answer is yes, you cannot afford to be a racist!
There is power in numbers, and stories like this keep us divided! Don't be fooled!

Well when the story first broke all you heard from the black community was " don't make this about race " It was repeated in numerous Q &A right here on these pages.
And yet the NAACP steps in and defends Michael Vick. That immedeatly makes it about race. Millions of people are insisting that this is about somebody trying to keep the black man down.
It's all bullsh*t !! This is about a MAN killing and torturing animals for no reason. This is about a MAN running a crimanl enterprise , gambleing, trafficking and fighting dogs illegally.
People are trying to make it about race to cloud those issues.
This is not about what color his skin is.
It is about his behavior and him taking responsibiliy for his behavior.

I don't think it has. I see what you mean, but I think the 'race' issue comes up too easily these days. No matter what his ethnicity is, the fact remains that he caused dogs unnecessary pain and suffering, and condemned them to a horrifying death. He should be prosecuted, and I would expect nothing less, whether he is black, white, Chinese, American, Canadian, English, or whatever. He has still broken the law, and been unspeakably cruel to animals. In my opinion, anyone who commits acts of this nature should be punished, regardless of their racial background.

The only race this should be an issue of is the human race. Whether he is black, white, or green, he and his scumbag cohorts are barbaric losers. They have lost the right to be called members of the human race. I hope all of them do their time in the worst hell hole of a prison and all rot in hell later.
