Do you think it happened to him, which is probably how he became twisted? Or was that just part of his twisted mind?

I don't think theres anything wrong with it, I think it will help people see the trouble signs if this were to occure at another school.

Or am I wrong in thinking that it sometimes honors a killer when a network is willing to show his sick, twisted videos and his horribal face 24 hours a day? They are giving him exactly what he wanted. It makes me sick!

What is the media’s goal with images of Cho?

In my opinion they make it look like a movie promotion for a summer thriller that is iconic and ppl should imitate this person. All that’s missing is the song , “I’m going down in a blaze of glory.” and the “Movie” voice, and voila’ we have a great commercial to kill at schools. No wonder there are so many copy cats.

Why do we buy this stuff??? Wasn’t Cho’s mission to be recognized? Shouldn’t we deny him post mortum fame by blocking his picture, video’s, and words?

There has been a huge public outcry over NBC's decision to air the writings, photos and video footage Cho Seung Hui sent to them in between the murder spree that took place at Virginia Tech on Monday. In my opinion, although we may not like it, it is newsworthy and the public has a right to know ALL of the information available regarding this horrible incident. What do you think?

Yea, the news was informing in the beginning but the in depth stories about the people who died seem to be too much. The news is making money off of these stories and I think they are disrespecting the family and friends of those who died. The whole nation heard the news by now. I think it's enough. What do you think?

Why do we always focus on the negative? We all as a human race tend to look at the negative things and keep talking about them. Global Warming, Murder, Shootings, Suicide. Is there reason we always put these things out in front of us. I am so sick of the news. Don't they have any real idea what it is doing to us. I wish for once that all the satelites would fall from the sky and transmissions would end and we would all just go outside and see that there is a lot of beauty left in the world. How can we ever make this world a better place when we put labels like U.S. record on to a massacre. i want to hear about the heroes and I am not talking about the TV Show. Life is good. I want to feel good again. It is no wonder we are one of the most deprssed nations in the world even though it seems like we have it all. I am bummed out. This sucks!

I feel so bad for the families..and I don't think it should be forgotten...but if I was one of the family members I would hate watching TV or listening to the radio right now. First is the grieving, secondly is a healing process. I'm not saying the familes are ready to heal yet..but with the constant news stories..its like getting beat down with a stick..constantly. Things have not changed much..but the news channels constantly display the pics and talk about the story..

As most of you know, the anniverary of Columbine is tomorrow. Well, these past few days at my school there have been rumors fluctuating about people dying on that day. The principal sent a mass e-mail to parents saying that this was a mere rumor. However, three hours ago, while in my fourth period, the principal came on the intercom and ordered the school into a lockdown. This wasn't a drill. Fifteen minutes later, it was known that there was a gun threat on my school. Police were everywhere. Twenty minutes later it was deducted that there was no danger. It is still unclear if it was a rumor or hoax, but I'm wondering: Should I stay home from school tomorrow? On such a dangerous day with gun rumors flying around, and the lockdown shows the principal is worried . . . I can't help but be afraid . . . so do you think i should not go to school tomorrow?

Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert or Glenn Beck ?

It seems to me that this guy was miserable and suicidal. But after seeing the Columnbine incident he decided he should die famously. He had no motive for killing 32 people other than because he thought it would get his name and picture in the news. His only wish was to make everyone in the country know and care who his is. The media has successfully granted that wish.

This tragedy can be covered just as well without ever mentioning the guy's name or showing his picture. Focus on celebrating the lives of the victims. Let the criminal who caused it die anonymously.

If this most recent psychopath didn't know the names of the Columbine killers, would he have named them as martyrs, idolized them, and ultimately copied them?

Shouldn't the media be responsible for continuing this horrible cycle?
