I feel so bad for the families..and I don't think it should be forgotten...but if I was one of the family members I would hate watching TV or listening to the radio right now. First is the grieving, secondly is a healing process. I'm not saying the familes are ready to heal yet..but with the constant news stories..its like getting beat down with a stick..constantly. Things have not changed much..but the news channels constantly display the pics and talk about the story..

The constant sensationalism around these events is disgusting. The news has been told, the facts have been aired, continual 24/7 coverage is just in total disrespect to all the families and loved ones involved. Enough already give these people some privacy and time to grieve.

It serves no purpose except fill the pockets of the greedy media.

Have some respect and compassion.

I think this murderer knew exactly what would happen in the aftermath of his killing spree. But the media has a responsibility to back down on this story. We have all the gory details. All this is going to do is create a copycat situation because sick-o's like this love the attention that something like this brings.

well i personally think that we have not gave the victoms a sence of peace because they are constanly reminded of that one horrible day. but i think it is also important to relize how serious and how scary to think that this could happen any where. the districts and schools need to keep us students safe. and if this one man can take the lives of 32 students what messages is it sending others. i hope that no one tries to reunaact this. but it important to discuss this instead of staying quiet about it so that we may find a solutition expecially since now everyone has realizd the reality of this all.

Some TV stations are stopping the airing of the tapes and pictures. It needs to stop soon or people will never heal.

I want the gun grabbers strapped down endlessly in front of the TV and forced to watch until they realise that one armed citizen legally carrying a gun on that campus could have prevented this even or reduced it to a small local story.

Every time I see the news, I see the picture of the man who shot everyone. It would definitley be hard if you lost someone that day, but it is good that they make a point to show that these things happen and we need to change that.

I'm not affected directly by the VA massacre, but I also don't own a TV.

Why is it SO HARD for most people to turn those darn things off?

It sucks. i am so depressed. I want a grateful dead show. or at least a company picnic. How about a news story in which someone actually does something brave and courageous and nobody got killed. Can't we all just get along?

Well it's very fresh still in everyone's minds. Its a very emotional and of course like any other tragedy, the media over plays a lot of things.
