Yes and no.
Yes, I would frequently type in my opinions on the article, subject and other replies.
No, it had denigrated to a few jerks that related everything to liberal vs conservative, black vs white, and rude, inappropiate comments that added nothing to the discussion. There simply was not enough monitoring.
I think they sould reinstitute the discussion boards. But, I think they should just allow discussions on certain articles. With a smaller number of articles to monitor they could sucessfully keep out the jerks. I believe in free speech, but 70 % of the replies had nothing to do with the article or other replies.

No, Ithose discussions don't change anyones' minds, and they're probably a pain to monitor, with people abusing each other and using them for spam.

Joseph Smith, the founding father of Mormonism, created this entire mess with the aid of giving the Mormons a purported Revelation from God that polygamy became into to be an eternal covenant in the LDS church. It became into to be eternal, a commandment from God, Himself, to start this custom and in no way end it. It basically ended while the Mormon president of the time got here across himself and his followers being attacked with the aid of the U.S. military which had orders to end the prepare. So, in case you purchase the Mormon faith, it skill that God, Himself, became into overruled with the aid of Washington, D.C. and forced to end the prepare.
