Innocent until proven guilty is of course right and true.

I am genuinely interested to know if you have never formed an opinion on any other murder case over the years or whether you're sticking to your guns on this one for special reasons?

I am geniunely interested in your answers on this one.

PLEASE NO ABUSE!!!

I put:-

"All of it (it being the publicity) is resulting on concentrating on these people and the McCanns themselves (i.e. press is reporting about the PR and the McCanns rather than Maddy) AND losing site of the fact Maddy is missing, probably dead."

Apparently some people think that means I am saying McCanns have lost sight of Maddy being missing?

Instead of reading what you think you will read - try re-reading the sentences before firing off a smart alec answer please - not all of us sit in one camp or another - some of us can see beyond black and white.

Thinking about it - with people like this out there you can see how the media can whip them up into little camps in the first place.

Why is it that every 'anti' McCann resorts to the tried and tested line (ah but they are guilty of neglect) when pro's say, they are innocent until proven guilty, when we say that, you know that we mean innocent of murder as things stand today.

The neglect part of the case was debated fully in the begininng, it is way past that now.

I have seen virtually nobody disagree with the fact that leaving their children alone was neglectful.

When discussing this topic with Pro's try and come up with something new, or at least accept that we agree they were neglectful.

The pro's are agruing about the right to be innocent until proven guilty, what is wrong with that?

We are arguing that no evidence is supporting the suggestion that the McCanns were responsible for harming their child, why cant you accept that?

I have just read a tirade from a yahoo questioner, who I feel was acting 'demented', do we (at yahoo Q&As) cause this feeling - or are we an outlet for this obviously pent up anger?
Question was in News and Events.

Sorry to ask another McCann question, but I don't think anyone's asked this before.

They were in the same room that Madeleine was abducted from, there's a chance they may have witnessed something vital to the investigation.

Just a thought.

I find this media and PR involvement in the campaign unsettling. Where are they going with this thing? Why is it necessary to pursue so much publicity that centres around spin, PR, and celebrity names?

All of it is resulting on concentrating and these people and the McCanns themselves and losing site of the fact Maddy is missing, probably dead.

Are you really male? You sad little tw *t. This is no life for a man, spending all day, every day, gossipping. You are the snivelling scum who never buys a round always saffing and begging aren't you? I know this will get deleted, but for as long as it stays, I'd like to offer a smile to the decent folk, by telling it like it is. How can you find so much crap to chat? I have never heard anyone so full of total sh1t. I've not even bothered to read what you wrote, because it all comes out as blah, blah, blah, blah. If you answer me I will haunt you, I promise, I'm off work for 2 weeks and I'll make your nasty little world uglier than you have made the decent folks, this is not a threat, it is a promise. I'm coming to get ya! You're a sad excuse for a human, let alone a man, you're scum, the bottom of the pile. I've scrapped more decent things than you from the bottom of my shoe. You want to see hate, bring it on boy

Source(s):

Oh and if you block me you yellow bellied, snivelling little coward, I'll come back again and again, each time getting worse. I'll tell you the truth about you, and I don't think you can handle it.

According to Sky News (an oxymoron if I ever heard one', Kate McCann "said in an interview with Portguese magazine Flash that although Madeleine accepted the arrival of twins Sean and Amelie, she grew fiercely jealous of the attention they received."

So, even though it is not exactlyunusual for elder siblings to be jealous of their younger sister/brother, how long will it be before the new theories are apread all over the place? Nonsense about the McCanns killing Madeleine because they couldn't cope with her "jealousy"?

I bet the moronic buffoons on the Mirror forum are salivating over this right now.

And had they not, then this would not have happened?

Not being nasty or angry. No accusations. Not after an arguement. Just want honest views from 'antis and pros' please.

If some of you remember rightly a few weeks ago most people were saying that if anyone killed Maddie it was Gerry.
In fact they were sure of it!!!!!!!
Isnt it funny now that since Kate came into the picture as a bad mum etc, she is suddenly prime suspect?
What about some of you saying he looks shifty, she looks like a beaten wife, he looks like he has a temper ( the list is endless )
Why is it some of the so called 'Anti McCanns' change thier vicious opinions only when new 'reports' come out?
It doesnt say much does it when you dont stick to your guns, i mean if you were SO sure they were involved why blame the dad one week the the mum the next?

Isn't that why they have offered that option in the new reporting system.

That is what I will be doing from now on and I encourage other pro McCanns to do the same.

Reports suggest that police want to look into Kate's background and all of a sudden we have Kate admitting that she found it "hard to control" Madeleine, that Madeleine "cried for 18 hours a day" but this created a "special bond" between them. Is this more damage limitation by team McCann as they know that Kate's relationship with her daughter was far from ideal and that her state of mind was volatile. I can see no other reason for the McCanns to be making these statements and it seems to me that they are worried about what this "search" into Kates background will turn up. What do you all think?

with all the other wars within the middle east when do you think there will be WW3?

2007-09-17 21:12:06 · 21 answers · asked by Anonymous

I did.

Not because I wanted to show any bias for or against but because i believe this program was totally bias in its presentation.

It did not show an even ubias assessment of the forensic evidence. I believe this programme would prejudice any possible trial, making the programme illegal in itself.

If you want a media you can trust and rely on to give he facts and not interfer with the process of law you need to complain to ITV now to protect standards of boroadcasting now.

I also believe that Micheal Grade has a lot to do with the undermining of broadcasting standards. The Telephone quiz problems started at the BBC when he was in control and continued at ITV as he became Chairman there.

to gather so much money in the first place. One woman, who had £750,000 in Northern Rock said she was considering stuffing it under the mattress. Bloody idiots, massive queues are still outside the building society even after the British government have stated on TV that 100% of their money is being insured by the chancellor, what fools they are.

What is your opinion?

While there are many questions, answers and discussions around the McCann case there seem to be an unhealthy element that seem to have to do all in their power to a) use any method to try to prove the MacCanns are totally innocent, and b) victimise and bully anyone who they feel disagrees with them.

Why are some people so adamant that the McCanns are TOTALLY innocent ? and why are they going to great lengths to silence other viewpoints ?

The murder conviction is off the table. O.J. was acquitted and can't be tried again--even if he confesses to doing it.

But what do you think? Did he kill his wife and her friend? Is he a sociopath who only cares about himself? Or did the police frame him and is he now being persecuted? Or did he just happen to be the poor guy caught in the middle who didn't do anything but gets blamed for everything? What do you think?

(The current burglary and armed robbery charges in Las Vegas could send him up the river for more than 100 years if he's convicted.)
