I put:-
"All of it (it being the publicity) is resulting on concentrating on these people and the McCanns themselves (i.e. press is reporting about the PR and the McCanns rather than Maddy) AND losing site of the fact Maddy is missing, probably dead."
Apparently some people think that means I am saying McCanns have lost sight of Maddy being missing?
Instead of reading what you think you will read - try re-reading the sentences before firing off a smart alec answer please - not all of us sit in one camp or another - some of us can see beyond black and white.
Thinking about it - with people like this out there you can see how the media can whip them up into little camps in the first place.

Lizziewindolene - everyone is entitled to an opinion but misreading mine then giving me grief for something I didn't write is a little bit harsh, dont you think? I was looking forward to reading some interesting intelligent views on the PR and press coverage instead its 'oh dont pick on the McCanns' when there is NOTHING in the Q that is picking on the McCanns.....

I know. Annoying, isn't it? I just try not to get wound up by it now, just remember that it's not you who looks silly for not reading the question - it's them.

I think I understand what you are saying. There seems to be a whole huge hoola-ba-loo about everything except the fact that at this point, it can safely be suggested that the child has met with death - whoever may be responsible.
And rather than focus on that grim fact, everything else acts as a smoke screen to it.
I think everyone that is involved, should be using their resources to attempt to recover the child. Not some posters, not an ad campaign, spend the son-of a Bit#%$'ing money on a real effort to find the child for crying out loud. Search and rescue teams are what's needed not a wristband, in my opinion.

everyone has an opinion and sometimes are too passionate about the subject to read the question properly, i believe that the mccans are Innocent until proven guilty, and would be really happy if little Maddie was found safe and sound, but as time goes on it seems that something terrible has happened to her and this is sad, in an ideal world people would be concentrating on finding this lost girl or her body so she can be laid to rest, but people are just trying to place blame, if the mccanns did kill her then it will be between them and their god even if they get away with it, if someone else took her then they are going to have to live with the fact that they left their children unattended for the rest of their lives either way they are going to have to live with the guilt for ever, yes it is important to find out if they hurt their little girl but i do agree with you that all this chasing of the parents is not helping to find Maddie, as for if they did it i really don't know all i know is that as time goes on the trail as to where Maddie is is going cold, i pray she is still alive but as time goes on hope does seem to be fading, i just hope that no matter what the outcome justice is served to the person who has caused all this pain.

I didn't read those answers that way - if you were refering to my answer I was agreeing with the fact that whatever side you take the whole media scrum and the families campaign has taken a back seat to looking for the victim of the crime. Just confusing that last week they were saying they wanted it all scaled down and now they're saying they want it all scaled up. Personally I don't think the public has forgotten about Madeleine at all, I just think she's taken a back seat to the debate on whether her parents could possibly figure in her disappearance.
Now the answer to the above question is YES.

I just posted a question asking why people were stupid enough to believe that they could pass judgement on the mcCanns without any inside knowledge or experience.
I was so depressed by the answers that i deleted it after about 3 minutes.
Good luck.

No I examine questions until now I action picture star them despite if or no longer they are from my contacts or no longer. Like Lord Voldemort, I even tend to action picture star my contacts' question extra no longer in undemanding terms out of loyalty yet i certainly locate their questions exciting. There are some circumstances nonetheless, when I action picture star a sprint's question and forgot to respond to! =D Edit: LOL Deedee. particular or perhaps to Lord Voldemort, too and others. Sorry!

Some times it's the way the questions are laid out. I'm not very good at writing what I actually mean and start rambling. I'm a better conversationalist than a writer.
I do understand what you are saying though

No, it's not just you I have noticed it too.
My theory, they are
A. doing it for points,
B. stupid and don't understand the questions
C. lazy and can't be bothered to read the questions
Either way their answers often are irrelevant to the question posted, so therefore pointless.
