i knew it. having a child who cries constantly is very hard work. maybe thats why she only worked p/t and had a nanny for the duration. if that was the case..why did she not get help for the problems it apparently caused her. over the next days i wonder if we'l get a feed of 'poor kate ' mentality, with a difficult child, and depression problems etc.....every week they change the story. what the hell has that poor child had to go through ??

We ALL have a backround...
I was a difficult child... My mum even sometimes spanked me when I was naughty...Im sure at times I drove her nuts... She never Killed me though!!
Im sure there are loads of people who disagree and I shall be (un) interested to read the direct abuse I will get because Im not agreeing...
But come on... Everyone has a past, we grow, we evolve as people and we learn from our mistakes... As a new mother, who'd gone through the trauma of IVF, she MAY have struggled... But it doesnt make her guilty of murder...It makes her an in-experienced mother... I see plenty round the towns I live, mothers of all ages, looking like they're going to scream when their child has a hissy fit in the store cos they cant have what they want or wont listen... Mums all get a bit upset at times...
Im not saying they were right to leave their children alone before that gets dragged up...But what I am saying is that if you look into most new mothers first few years of finding teir feet, you may find incidents where many of them felt desperate...Hence the existance of post natal depression....
peace.
May I also add... I have two jobs... Any have been unemployed, as a result of having cancer and people not being too willing to take on people with disease...Please do not feel important enough to generalise everyone else. You are equal amongt men... Regardles of occupational status we all are.

It seems that sometimes God doesn't look for some people but God had the right decision when this people were not able to have children why they forced nature?
Madeleine was active so my daughter that's children for you my wife had post-natal depression that's even worse and she did great my daughter had acid reflux and because of that she was crying all day long until she was 3 months old that was hell but we still loved her and it's your blood you don't think twice they are (children) what we should leave for.
Good point have a star.

Note the word 'Reports', NOT facts. No one can make any judgements until we see a conclusion to this sorry case, otherwise the British public will be involved in an unseemly damaging witch hunt, which will make us a laughing stock across the world.

To look into someone's backround in a case like this is just routine Police procedure, just like someone's financial background would be looked into if their business burnt down in suspicious circumstances

Remember early in the case Gerry`s profile page on Friends reunited originally said that Madelaine was a bit of a handful, he then went on to say (Jokingly) does anybody want to be our babysitter as we enjoy going out in the evening. A few days later he had completely removed all of this, seems to me they have been covering things up from day 1." Damage limitation" is the key phrase...
Ooo a thumb down,,so the truth really does hurt,,ha ha

Yes..now the McCanns have Max Clifford working with them, with a new PR team you can instantly see a change from the bungling incompetant Justine Mcguinness.
Yes they will damage limit. manipulate, put out downright lies as they have from the beginning.
I do not believe they get 1000s of letters of support and only one or two"Crank" letters.
The cheek of it is amazing as if anyone who critisises them is a crank.!!!!
Last night we had the Tonight program which was apparently completely one sided.
Its frightening. the longer this goes on the more emboldened these two child killers will become.
I am hoping that this week will see some people wake up and smell the stench of Mclies...
Vile wicked people.

they have to look at all the facts. no one knows if they are guilty or not yet and people are entitled to their opinion on things so everyone who has a go at the people who say they think they've done it stop!!
besides the McCann's need to be held liable for leaving 3 small children alone, that is very very wrong, those poor children could have seriously injured themselves or worse.

What is ironic is the slew of people beating you up for saying this with their "you know nothing about it." The fact is they know nothing either, so good for the pot, good for the kettle, they know nothing about it either, so maybe they should be quiet.
There are a lot of reasons why the Portugese police came back to McCann's a suspects. Their behaviour is at the least illogical, and it is the worst alibi I have ever heard.
As for anyone who commits a murder, I am sure they want to cover it up... What is a few cover-ups and lies if you are guilty?
I leave wee ones at home while we go party! What a laugh. A very sad one.
