A judge is suing a dry cleaning business for $65million over losing a pair of pants. What do you think?
Here's the article: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070503/ap_on_fe_st/65_million_dollar_pants

I think the guy's a wacko. If he didn't want to pay the dry cleaning bill and wanted a few coupons on his next purchas I'd understand but this is too crazy

I watched that tape and the media has WAY over blown. The cops were chasing people that were throwing bottles, sticks and rocks and they ran through a group of ralliers.

Bottom line, either enter the country legally like thousands of other law biding immigrants waiting patiently or get the hell out!

Why are you SO special that YOU get to jump to the front of the line? That you SHOULDN'T follow the law? That YOU destroy the country's infastructure? (CA helathcare system went backrupt due to illegal aliens, check it out, it's the truth the ralliers don't want you to know).

And as for the jobs no one wants, yeah a) we have convicts and unemployed to do them and b) sending American dollars back across the boarder HURTS America, doesn't help it.

Get out!

Do they only have the best interest of their party in mind, or their own self interest (i.e. getting re-elected)?
What about the best interest of our Nation, our way of life, our very civilization. Don't they understand that this is just the opening volly of a war between good and evil? Havn't they heard the clearly stated ovjectives of the radical Islamics, which is to eliminate all religious faiths other than Islam, by any means necessary? Wake up America and the rest of the free world.

We are fighting a war we cannot win! We have lost most of our industry to foreign interest, most of america is outta work or on gov. programs. Our borders are open and foreigners take our jobs daily. Our politicians will do nothing for the american people isn't this all signs of collapse in America???

I am confused. When the muslims are using bombs to fight, they call it Jihad, but the Americans call it terrorism. Again Iran's President claims America and Israel to be terrorist nations.

Is anyone else out there ENRAGED at the hypocrisy of the "MARCH of ILLEGALS" in Los Angeles...

How gutless our politicans are to pander for votes...corporate america who loves the cheap labor...our bi-lingualism signs everywhere(which promotes illiteracy!)...our dumbed-down schools...the disengaged parents who blame the system(yet they don't embrace education as needed in a technologically advanced society)...our GUTLESS Mayor(always looking for another photo op)...

I think the Homeland security should have had 18-wheelers ready to load up, and ship back anyone who is here breaking the LAW! Next time your not invited to a party, drive your car into the house...see how "welcome" you are by demanding, not abiding by the rules of society.

I know it is a movie, but in Easy Rider it seemed that it was legal in some district in New Orleans.

Al Black Americans (a wider group than African Americans, including at least recent immigrant, or 2nd generation African or Afro-Carribeans)?

the reason why life in this country is so good is because we (for the most part) dont have to struggle, we dont have a horrible economy and we FIGHT for or freedom and privilege's . rising gas prices are causing a rise in the cost of living and its just going to get worse and worse. why should we stand by quietly and allow our way of life to be destroyed? what is your justification for tolerating gas price increases?

Why does the gov't reward people for being irresponsible? Single parents get tax breaks, money to help them buy a home, etc. Why should they get these benefits? I'm not talking about people who were married, had children and the marriage didn't work out. I'm talking about the people who have 5 kids from 5 different dads and never had a job that paid more than minimum wage. Why aren't the people who made responsible choices and did not have children they could not afford get rewarded?

and then lets a student use her phone...come on...dumb kids as they are pass her photos around...and she gets to carry on teaching while they "investigate".

Doesn't say much for the integrity or character of the teacher does it?

Do you think she should be allowed to continue teaching? What an embarrassment to the whole educational system.

If you don't know what I'm talking about the kid in Buffalo who borrowed her phone, snooped into her photos (surprise!) and then passed them all around the school and internet too. They were pretty explicit porno photos too supposedly! I don't know how she could just go back and show her face...but hey she certainly wasn't embarrassed about showing a whole lot more.

Several Americans are tired of big Oil companies making record profits while the rest of of starve to fill our vehicles with gas, while in Iraq they pay less than a dollar a gallon. There is a nationwide movement to boycott gas on May 15, 2007. Lets show the oil companies were tired and were not going to take it anymore. Tell everyone you know, and do it by mouth , phone , or email. Just think of how this will hit their pocketbook. Can you guess how many gallons of gas are purchased each day. Millions.... If you have any other productive ideas of how to lower gas prices I'd love to hear them. We all know the politicians won't help us. I'ts coming up on the Presidental election and the Oil companies throw too much money in their pockets. So lets help ourselves. Remember MAY 15, pass it on to everyone you know.

I've heard people say that if we get rid of all the guns, then we are only setting ourselves up for crime because if a criminal wants to get a gun and kill or rob then he will.

But how do you explain the success rates of countries like Australia and Japan, who have banned all guns and their crime rates have gone down?

P R A Y E R !!!
Get your prayer on...
Find a quite comfortable place and take time,
---make time---for God!
Read and meditate on God's revelations to mankind in the Holy Scriptures for this is truly listening to God...
-Psalms 119 vs 148-
My eyes are awake through the night watches, that I may meditate on your word.

May 3rd National Day of Prayer!

Mine is:
God Jehovah, Maximize my joy. In you everything is more alive. Take me out of the shadows and bring me into your light of your grace! With a longing heart I desire you and your Holy will. With my full attention, help me to put you first, your kingdom and your righteousness for your good pleasure and glory. Remain with me and love on me like only you can, divinely upon all of man.
