In April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.

On May 15th 2007, all internet users are to not go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in a lot of places.

There are 73,000,000+ American members currently on the internet network, and the average car takes about 30 to 50 dollars to fill up.

If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $2,292,000,000.00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil companies pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on May 15th and lets try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day.

If you agree (which I can’t see why you wouldn’t) email this to your entire contact list with it saying, ''Don't pump gas on May 15th"

If you need gas, get it the day before or the day after!

CNN indicate that the house didn't have the needed 2/3 to over-ride the veto. Why didn't they mention that they only had a little over half? To me is sounds like they are down playing the fact that they weren't even close! What do you think? Liberal media spin or just leaving out facts?

I have read, heard, discussed, etc, the conspiracy that our government planned the attacks of 911. I've watched Loose Change and all the other videos that are on the web.

I dont know what to think, just to get that straight. I am neither for or against any idea of who did it.

But, ive heard that our government and the elite class of people are going after world domination and one world government. Ive heard that this whole Iraq war is to clear a path for oil or something.

I also heard that they proved that the whole Loose Change video was proven false. But i also heard that these experts in the areas of engineering, science, and government had changed their positions on the whole thing shortly after the attacks to due goverment interference.

What are your thoughts?

A disgruntled student at Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, Va., went on a shooting spree. Peter Odighizuwa tragically shot six people, killing Dean Anthony Sutin, Associate Professor Thomas Blackwell, and student Angela Dales.

Most news reports pointed out that the situation ended when several students "confronted," "tackled," or "intervened." However, Tracy Bridges, Ted Besen, Todd Ross, and Mikael Gross did not merely "confront" Odighizuwa. Bridges and Gross separately ran to their cars to get their handguns once the shooting began. Bridges approached Odighizuwa with Besen's and Ross' aid. Gross was close behind. According to Bridges, "I aimed my gun at him, and Peter tossed his gun down." Bridges, Besen, and Gross had previously received police or military training.

Unfortunately, the media did not point out that the "intervening" students were armed. A Lexis-Nexis search revealed 88 stories on the topic, of which only two mentioned that either Bridges or Gross were armed.

Dear God,
Give me a brand new car this day and please pray for the victims of Virginia tech.

ME: Your all deluded in believing because you don't have the backbone to live your own life. Things like this happen because your all posers. And you work for a car stupid.

I think we declare victory and pull the troops. However; the House and Senate are giving the insurgents (notice I did not say OUR enemy) a time frame to regroup. Screw it; let's pull out but not deliver the stinking date. We pull Akbar to the side and say..."Yo bro, we have done all we are going to do. Get your head out of your rear and start planning for an Iraq with out our (USA) children. And Akbar; have a nice life, and when you call dial 1-800-collect!"

It looks like its starting now.
One GOP-monkey is already gone.
Gingrich screwed his secretary on his tax-payer-bought desk, while his wife was dying in a hospital bed, the same day he voted to impeach Clinton.
Bob Barr wrote a check to an abortion clinic, for....an abortion...after voting for every abortion ban that came up.
Too bad those boys aren't on her list.

I am writing an essay about gun control, and I am stuck as to where to begin.

I am writing about how we don't need to change the gun control laws we have now, and how the laws we have now don't even work.

Please help!!

what is up, why can't we just go in and wipe out the enemy with a strong force.

it's like were peeing on a fire when we really need a bucket to put it out.

If were going to be at war, why not hit them hard and end it. Insted were just poking at a wound and expecting it to heal.

so what is it that is getting in the way of a full on attack in Iraq...I know it's a lot of politics but I want to know.

thanks

This year has been odd

The Geese (some anyway) did not fly south this year

It was odd to see them in Nov and Dec and Jan etc

It was 5 degree's C colder on Easter (4 C- 38 F)than it was at Christmas (9 C - 48 F)

There was almost no snow this year (ussually a lot more) The grass was green on New years and I walked the dog in a tee shirt on New Years day - 15 C ( 55- 60 F)

It is May 1st - (10C 50 F )

It's ussually snow covered with cold days and damps winds in winter

Spring is ussually warm The Geese are ussually gone in late Agust to mid Sept

The squirrels have had 3-4 generations as opposed to thier normal 1 to 2

The plants are screwed up - etc

I live in Toronto

How is it where you live ? Different the same etc
