exact quote, again to forestall liberal whining
"Reality on the ground proves what we all know: A change of course is needed."

If, again according to harry(exact quote) weve already failed, as he exclamed in front of a banner that said support our troops(lmfao) wouldnt the change of course needed be to put a cork in it and allow people who understand al qaeda to do thier jobs without any more liberal extremist interference?
Ever notice that his "sense" of reality has never indicated any specific reasoning for an Oct. 1 withdrawl date-vs-any other date. Has he, or anyone else in the pelosi/reid regime(fat chance) considered that al qaeda could care less what date these cowards want to cut and run and the reality check is they will have wasted the best effort of these soldiers work to preseve the freedoms there and ultimately plunge the area into complete chaos?
And finally considering declaration of failure and pork inclusion in the next bill isnt the result just more tax+spend?

Beyond waving flags and buying bumper stickersw, we civilians have done practically nothing to support our troops. This is my major beef with the war at this point. Lots of folks say "if you support the war, enlist". Well, we've sent troops into battle undersupported, with multiple extensions of the tour of duty, and Walter Reed as the example of how injured vets may be cared for. Plus we've been told there'll be progress "any day now" for ages. It doesn't presently inspire confidence.

I'm not for pulling out of Iraq, but I'm also against waging a half-assed war where a small number of people and their families pay a terrible price while we sit around. So what would you do to support the troops?

Support a draft and/or enlist?
Pay higher taxes?
Cut back on energy consumption?

And if you are family to a soldier, what would you like to see the rest of the country due to help shoulder the burden?

Bin Laden and Al Zawahiri are Sunni. If it is true that Sunni tribesmen killed al-Masri, does that mean that Iraqis don't want Al Qaeda in their country? Does this mean Bush's dire predictions about what will happen if the U.S. pulls out of Iraq, are also lies?

Explain to me what rights they think they have, or deserve? Didn't they enter our country illegally? If they are not legal citiizens of the USA, then the constitution does not apply to them, they do not have the rights of americans citizens. Why can people not understand that it doesn't have anything to do with them being from another country (mostly Mexico), but it has to do with the fact they are here illegally?

Give me your thoughts

I guess I'm a bit naive but I wanted to know what facts contribute to people thinking 9/11 was staged? Am I missing something? I realize people have all sorts of wacky theories but I am assuming there are some basic criteria for them to say this. I have found many sites that go on and on about coincidences but it's all so random......

Also, I am confused about the #7 building....what happened to it and why is it so suspicious?

You know what? This is so TYPICAL of American/White women..she had a good time getting "off" on teasing these guys with her allure and sex appeal only to reject them (pyschologically) now she's had her fun and wont follow thru..

Im not sayin it to be mean but its true and a reason why I'd never date a white girl. In fact I dont even look at them, as often they get off on guys droolin over their looks..screw that I ignor them completely. Its funny to see how preturbed they get when a guy wont give them that satisfaction:\

heres the things lately we have been seeing so many stories about immigrants and how they have been captured. Last night watching Cristina i felt so mad at this goverment and how some authorities feel they can treat immigrant people worse than animals. I think this is a racial problem not an immigrant problem. Most families on Cristina were residents and even one kid was born here and they still got the same treatment. A U.S Citizen was brutally beatten and later on died because he looks Latino.

Heres the things not all immigrants are Latinos theres immigrants of all part of the globe here in the U.S so why target the Latino community the hardest working race. Why is the hate toward us so big.

Its a shame that a country who fights for other ppls rights is looking like an as* killing human beings torturing them and not letting them better them selves and excape poverty.

If the U.S is fair why so much hate and why is Bush letting this happen while we are fighting a war with a

Oil Minister Rafael Ramirez declared that the Orinoco fields had reverted to state control just after midnight. Television footage showed oil workers in hard hats raising the flags of Venezuela and the national oil company over a refinery and four drilling fields in the Orinoco River basin. Chavez planned a more elaborate celebration later on May Day, the international workers' holiday, with red-clad oil workers, soldiers and a flyover by Russian-made fighter jets.

The companies ceding control include BP PLC, ConocoPhillips, Exxon Mobil Corp., Chevron Corp., France's Total SA and Norway's Statoil ASA.

Do you think this a good Idea of Venezuela to do this knowing they do not have the same skill workers as the US?

Just what are they expecting to acheive by terrorising our lives? Do they want to rid the whole world of non-believers or just make life hard to live without knowning what they will do next?
Personally i think they are cowards, and not brave enough to fight our armies instead they attack defenseless civillians opting the easy way out and blow themselves up instead of fighting us.
