heres the things lately we have been seeing so many stories about immigrants and how they have been captured. Last night watching Cristina i felt so mad at this goverment and how some authorities feel they can treat immigrant people worse than animals. I think this is a racial problem not an immigrant problem. Most families on Cristina were residents and even one kid was born here and they still got the same treatment. A U.S Citizen was brutally beatten and later on died because he looks Latino.

Heres the things not all immigrants are Latinos theres immigrants of all part of the globe here in the U.S so why target the Latino community the hardest working race. Why is the hate toward us so big.

Its a shame that a country who fights for other ppls rights is looking like an as* killing human beings torturing them and not letting them better them selves and excape poverty.

If the U.S is fair why so much hate and why is Bush letting this happen while we are fighting a war with a

country full of injust goverment and cruelty, if we are fighting for them why cant we fight for our neighboors.?

There is a difference between legal and illegal immigrants, I am all for people coming to America LEGALLY but if people are coming in ILLEGALLY then they should be thrown out until they come in LEGALLY. We need to know who is inside the corders to prevent crime and terrorism. If people are allowed to come in ILLEGALLY and we do not know who is here then that opens us up to weakness and the chance for terrorists to go around unditected as well as criminals who we would not be able to keep track of. Ok. Apparently people on here suffer from memory loss. Why doesn't anyone remember when Bush signed a bill offering amnesty to all illegal immigrants who lived in the states for a certain period of time.
I completely didn't not agree with that bill, but just to set the record straight- Bush was on your side.
I hate how you say that Latinos are the hardest working race. If that is true, why are the lines at the free clinic and at WIC and at the Medicaid office full of latinos? If they were such a hardworking group of people, the rate of latinos on welfare would be much less. I am not stereotyping all latino people in this. I know that there are hardworking people in every race, it's just an overwhelming amount that are on welfare.
The reason mexicans are targeted is because you can walk across the border...and the amount of people that walk across that border illegally is mind-boggling. Other illegal immigrants have to work a lot harder to get here. I don't agree with illegal immigration whatsoever, I don't care what country you are from. Why do you deserve to be granted rights from my counrty when you don't respect the laws of my country? You break the law just by crossing the border. I doubt immigrants were captured. It was probably illegal immigrants. Try going to any country illegally and see what happens, not just the US. Break a law and see how you are treated no matter what race you are. It isn't good. Where I live we have more latinos killing latinos than any other group of people. These people often turn out to be here illegal. So is that making our country better?

The problem is within the governments of Mexico, Venezula, and other latin countries and not the US. Blame those countries not ours.

There are illegal aliens from many different countries in the US but the vast majority of them are from Mexico and Latin America. The Latino community is not being targeted except in the fact that is where the majority of the illegals are located. It is difficult to feel sorry for people who have broken the laws of this country, deplete the economy of this country by using government aid and sending money to their home country, and want US citizens to follow their customs and language rather than adopt the customs and language of this country.

You don't separate legal and ILLEGAL immigration. There is a HUGE difference! Your example of citizens being beaten are the rare exceptions. Don't state them like it is common occurrence.

Of course not all ILLEGAL immigrant are Latino but most are. Most of those are from Mexico, so don't go there either! They may be looking at the Latino community because that's were the majority of illegal are, SO WHAT!

That includes paying $9,000 in taxes (e.g., sales, property tax through rent, etc...) I thinks that's way too high but still, $22,400 from the tax payers!

They are costing Americans BILLIONS of dollars each year. Plus they are destroying our schools and health care system., ERs are closing because they can't afford to stay open. Teachers can't teach because they have to spend extra time with the non-English kids. They are bankrupting CA, which spends over $9 billion just for the illegals. THAT'S NOT RIGHT!

Wow do you have a slanted view of immigration. First off you need to separate Illegal immigration and Legal Immigration. Most people in the United States realize the need and good of Legal immigrations. Results of illegal immigrations? Above all else legal immigrants are entitled to ALL of the rights that every other US Citizen has, and they should be. Illegal immigrants should be deported, they broke the law, period.
