Explain to me what rights they think they have, or deserve? Didn't they enter our country illegally? If they are not legal citiizens of the USA, then the constitution does not apply to them, they do not have the rights of americans citizens. Why can people not understand that it doesn't have anything to do with them being from another country (mostly Mexico), but it has to do with the fact they are here illegally?
Give me your thoughts

Bubbles......AlthoughI can understand some of your points, the problem with all of them is that the exact law abiding citizens we are discussing, are not law abiding or citizens. They broke the law when they came here, and most break the law every paycheck. They are also not legal citizens and do not have the inherent rights that US citizens get.
As for what happens to the families, it is those people that put their familes at jeopardy, why should the system take care of their families? We have a legal way of entering this country and millions of peoplehave chosen to go around that law. Follow the laws, speak english and be a productive tax paying member of society and I will gladly welcome you into my country.

Not Racism..............law abiding. This has nothing to do with the race of the illegal aliens I asked about, I would like to know when Americans are going to stand up for their country and their tax dollars and fight for these people to have to be here legally.

There is a lot of different depth to this issue. There are children that are born here in the US that have known nothing but the US, what is supposed to happen with them when their parents are sent back to their home-country? Or how about the person that has been here for 15 years and pays his/her taxes, stays out of trouble legally speaking etc, Or the couple that is mixed with one person here legally (born here or came legally) and the other that isn't here legally and they have children. I agree that some people that have been in trouble with the law or something like that should have to go back, but there are so many different circumstances to this issue that make it hard to say one thing or another. I hope that our government can finally come up with something that is fair to those who have "behaved" in our country. Even with them "demanding" as you say, there still will be a long and costly process for them to get papers. They in reallity are just "demanding" for a chance to get legal, it certainly isn't 100% that when they apply for papers that they will get them, but the whole picture of their family lives needs to be taken into consideration.
Edit: I agree, you aren't being racist. I am glad you understood what I meant by my response. I figured everyone would think I am crazy, but being married to a Mexican I have learned a lot about illegal people and know that pulling 12 million people out of this country is a bit ridiculous and extreme. For one thing, the problem lies in border protection, those people that are here are already here, lets first get the rest of the border covered and that would get the root of the problem. Then from there we can figure out what we should do with all our illegal immigrants. Like I was saying before, it is a issue with many different sides, and many people that have been here for years or now have strong ties here such as children or a spouse. AND just think about how many businesses are pretty much completely made up of illegal immigrants (i.e. landscapping, restaurants, construction). I know some may argue that those jobs can go to americans, but why aren't they too working in these jobs? I have worked in construction, and there was two american guys who quit working within a few weeks, if americans wanted these jobs so badly they could have them. SO what is to happen to all these small and medium sized companies that rely on immigrant workers? Most would go under. Just for fun, try watching the movie "A Day Without A Mexican." It's funny and educational.

For several decades now, the US has welcomed illegal immigrants into the country, and so they have become accustomed to the idea that they have the right to break this law. We in the US are partly responsible for this; if we wanted the immigrants (and we did) we should have made it possible for them to immigrate legally.
Now, circumstances have changed and we need to get control of our borders because we have real enemies. The usual type of illegal immigrants are not our enemies, but they don't understand why they can't just do business as they always have.
In my opinion, those who are willing to help defend the country, who are willing to join the military or reserves, should be welcomed after a background check. Our country has enemies and those who are willing to help fight them deserve the rights and privileges of living in our country.

I cannot understand how a illegal alien can come and protest, waving their mexican flag, knowing that they had to leave their "proud" country because their government is so corrupt to care for it's own citizen. How can you be proud of a country like that and yet think you can walk in here taking from what legal alien and citizens worked for and bring in deseases and vegetable grown in human feces and wonder why they are upset.
The Mexican governement only cares about it's "citizen" when it comes to a criminal rapist murderer to get him off the death penalty. Whats wrong with our country to allow this??
I've seen this happening in Europe 20 years ago with the turkish guest worker program. Read up and watch. As long as we are allowed to carry weapons, people will fight for their freedom. No amnesty. We did it legally, so should they - lets start with speaking the language, shal we?

I completely agree. I just posted a question similar to this and got a lot of disagreement about it. My question aimed more towards their belief that citizenship is a RIGHT rather than a privilege. We don't owe them anything. It was their decision to come here illegally and to pay taxes(in some cases). My "forefathers" came here with the proper papers and entered with dignity.

I really do not know what part of the word ILLEGAL the liberals that support them do not understand.
