I watched that tape and the media has WAY over blown. The cops were chasing people that were throwing bottles, sticks and rocks and they ran through a group of ralliers.

Bottom line, either enter the country legally like thousands of other law biding immigrants waiting patiently or get the hell out!

Why are you SO special that YOU get to jump to the front of the line? That you SHOULDN'T follow the law? That YOU destroy the country's infastructure? (CA helathcare system went backrupt due to illegal aliens, check it out, it's the truth the ralliers don't want you to know).

And as for the jobs no one wants, yeah a) we have convicts and unemployed to do them and b) sending American dollars back across the boarder HURTS America, doesn't help it.

I agree with LAPD, and I did not see excessive force. When a crowd is out of control and attacking police, the police have a right to respond. Excessive force is using tanks. If people want to have a rally or a march, it better be done peacefully.
I think Bush has a good plan for immigration. It should be stopped with better borders and those who are here now should be documented and start paying some taxes.

I agree and support the LAPD 100% for their actions, this is way out of control letting illegals run our country and tie the hands of the police,, the police should chase the protesters all the way to the border and make them inter the country legally like the law says....like I've said else where it appears the U.S. is now controlled by Mexican government...

It's about time law enforcement shows SOME interest in the illegals when they rally like that. I have never understood how these people can be out there flaunting the fact that they are CRIMINALS and the cops and immigration do NOTHING.

They feel like they are above the laws of the country they are illegally in, so now maybe they will think twice.

I'll disagree with the guy who wanted police to use real bullets.

But I do agree the police were wrong to use rubber bullets. A more effective response would be to give the cops paint ball guns. half loaded with pepper power and the other half with irridescent indelible dye.

The pepper powder would have dispersed them fast and the dye would have ruined their clothes, they would have had to get new clothes, makeing them think twice before they decide to get rowdy again.
