Is it not interesting timing that the Russians do a manoeuvre that appears a threat to Canada just two weeks before the spp meeting of Bush, Harper and Calderon...go figure..."we have to defend you Canadians from the evil Russians...is anyone else getting tired of orchestration of events to make the public demand what is planned anyway at the meeting...is anyone else curious how deep the cooperation goes to create a fear that will make the lemmings demand protection.

I guess the latest is that the caregiver died of a heart attack...that his wounds were not life threatening. But why did Rhames need a caregiver anyway? Especially, since Rhames was apparently out of country when the "accident" happened.

This question is aimed primarily at lawyers. A lawyer told me that you do not need a valid reason to sue someone.
Taking this into consideration, the state of Minnesota and Minneapolis had better hope that they have good liability insurance.
Considering that the I-35 bridge had been condemned just a few years ago, I think that the people affected, have a good chance of winning large settlements. It is possible that the city of Minneapolis and the state of Minnesota will be raising taxes for a few years to help pay for lawsuits.
Please give me your input
No sarcasm PLEASE.
Lets have some sincere and informative comments on this subject.
I'll bet that lawyers are lining up at this moment just waiting for and soliciting clients.

This guy spent a good portion of his show on Thursday slamming Obama for actually talking about DOING something about the terrorist camps in Pakistan, yet he offered no solution, one can only speculate the Hannity plan is to either A)Let them go about their business B)Just keep "fighting them in Iraq"

But I wouldn't expect a brilliant solution from a guy who actually thinks we are "hated for our freedoms" rofl

OK, there has been ALOT of anymosity with regards to how people feel re the Mc Cann sunject, why dont we turn it into a positive, all of us for and against whast been happening and do the London Marathon next year, raising money for other children who have been abducted? The peole who are against what the McCaans have done cant say this isnt a good idea as the money wont be going to their existing fund, so all might be happy? We are all able(most of us im sure, ) that we could train all year, and come together as a unit not a group of people who have gotten carried away with this all. I know I am guilty of it, lets get together and turn this into something good?! Anyone with me? We could all get this registered so that the money is def going ot where it should be, there are alot of smart peole on both siodes who coopuld give us advice.... Am I too much of a dreamer or can it be done?

There are lists of our service men and women that have lost there lives in Iraq. But where can I find a list of construction men and women that have been killed? I would think that those people that have gone over there to help re-build Iraq and have lost there lives would be listed somewhere?

i never heared about explosives that are manufactored in afganistan or palestine.....they could be assembeled there...but the main charge always has this sentence on it (MADE IN USA) i never heared about C4 that is made in Palestine or a mine that is called BOUNCING BETTY or an M16 or an AK47 that is fabricated in an islamic country? i was just wondering.
when the american invade Vietnam, the locals used the undeployed american bombs and made small bombs with it and killed so many americans...but yet they were not called terrorists....since when defending your country is considered terrorism ?

Last thursday, the 2nd August, at about 8.30am on either TV Channel 4 or 5, there was a "breaking news" item broadcast by a lady announcer that said something like " two people were killed and three policemen injured when a van they were tracking blew up! The police were in slow pursuit of a van in the Liverpool area which exploded as they approached it" I waited all day to hear full reports on this dramatic incident fearing another terrorist attack but there has been no follow up of any kind in the press. Did I dream the whole thing? Was it an error by the TV station? Has there been some sort of news blackout? If anyone heard the same thing or can throw any light on the matter I would be most grateful.

Or is it a case of, the violence has always been here, but they didnt have the means to broadcast it and most families kept themselves to themselves regarding things such as domestic abuse ect?

MINNEAPOLIS -- Roughly 150 cars, trucks, and at least one school bus crawling bumper to bumper on a bridge that suddenly crashes into the Mississippi River could have been a recipe for a massive death count.

In light of the tragic colapse of a bridge that millions used over 40 years, have you felt a little more uncomfortable as you have driven over bridges? I don't use most of the old ones around my town. Some are like 70+. I've never liked major spans like the Golden Gate. Does anyone else worry? More or less than before?

I acknowledge that terrorism is a real threat but I think the way terrorism is dealt with is not much more than spreading panic and empowering terrorism.

Personally I think its kind of ironic that the terrorist want us to live in fear and our Government/media just seems make sure we remain in fear>
