It would be very alarming for me if a Great White was spotted off the UK coast, not because I have a fear of sharks, but because it means a mini ice age is coming.
Great Whites only swim in places where there is a cold current, like off the coasts of Australia (Tasmin Sea), South Africa (Atlantic and Southern Oceans), the South Atlantic, and the California/Mexican Pacific coast. The Northern Atlantic Ocean off the coast of the UK is not a cold current, it is a warm current (the Gulf Stream). Perhaps not for much longer?
PS: On the subject of tornados, actually the UK has more per square mile of land mass than any other place in the world.

Sharks have been sighted off Cornwall for many years (great whites included), as for the cheap shot at immigrants, most Poles are white and there's thousands of them coming to this country so I don't think it's colour that's the issue it's immigration in general.

What about all of those North and South Poles?
Anyway can't stop - I am watching Jaws 2 on the television (any man in skimpy swimming trunks will do me so long as he is not legless like those Poles on a Saturday night - around here anyway).

The British Islands are in insulated part of the world where there are no earthquakes, volcanoes, monsoons, huricanes, tidal waves, large carivores. Tornadoes are extremely rare. Something that happens all over the world, but not there will make news
