This question is aimed primarily at lawyers. A lawyer told me that you do not need a valid reason to sue someone.
Taking this into consideration, the state of Minnesota and Minneapolis had better hope that they have good liability insurance.
Considering that the I-35 bridge had been condemned just a few years ago, I think that the people affected, have a good chance of winning large settlements. It is possible that the city of Minneapolis and the state of Minnesota will be raising taxes for a few years to help pay for lawsuits.
Please give me your input
No sarcasm PLEASE.
Lets have some sincere and informative comments on this subject.
I'll bet that lawyers are lining up at this moment just waiting for and soliciting clients.

l bet the lawyers are lining up also. I hadn't heard it was condemned but if it was, sounds like that would be good reason. Usually when there are a lot of law suits on one "thing" there is a cap. At least that's what l remember from other cases. Yes you can sue for any reason, whether you win or not is up to a jury.
