It is a serious situation, but I find it funny that the president will not let congress go home until they have done their job.
Whether you like Bush or not, this is funny!
Its about time Congress is taken down a notch in their thinking they are above the rest of us.

My first thought when I read this story is WTF?

A lover of a man who had a 17 month old child tortured the baby in the hope the baby would be taken away so she could have the man to herself as she saw the baby as a nuisance.

"The child suffered a litany of fractures and bruises as his limbs were "twisted and pulled", he was burnt with a cigarette and even had his leg progressively sliced open until the wound was so deep tendons and veins were exposed."

"Many of his injuries were ignored for days, causing him to scream as his broken bones ground together."

"His many injuries included a broken thigh and shin and three fractured ribs. A doctor who examined him said he looked like a car accident victim"

"The pair, who each face up to 14 months jail, were both remanded in custody."

14 months???????? for not just killing a child, but TORTURING the child till he died!!

Fox went to court to obtain the right to lie and an appeals court upheld that right in a case involving two Fox reporters who wanted to tell the truth but were prohibited from doing so by their employer, Fox. Case involves reporters Akre and Wilson, look it up. Why is it important that Fox be granted the right to lie on their newscasts? Why would they even want that? Do you feel comfortable knowing that Fox thought it was important to establish the legal right to lie to you, their audience? Maybe there is a good side to this, I'd like to hear it, if there is one. Thanks!

So, here is the advice that Cherie Blair QC is providing some club owners on how to beat the ban while they are pushing their case through the European courts.

"Door staff should ask everyone entering the club if they are policemen are a council officer - which they must declare if asked - and if the answer is yes, the door staff radio down the information to the bar. Customers then put their cigarettes in the ashtrays. Even if they are lit, it can not be proved that anyone was actually smoking them"

WOW - Nice little loop hole in the law. This is being done at Abracadabra and Hey Jo night clubs.

Fantastic!!! They are on my list of night spots now. Very well done to Dave West and the others involved.

I know he's in real estate and they're supposedly dept free. I'm curious what the agreement is between them and the Discovery Channel. Do they make a large amount of money off the shows? Do they do it to get their "message" out to the public with no financial gain? Do they get donations in the form of a vehicle, home appliances, food, ect?

Thanks guys and have a great weekend!

Omg so embarrasing advice please?
I was at the movie theater with my boyfriend watching a romantic comedy. After drinking a large Pepsi I had to pee so bad so I crossed my legs and tried to hold it in. The movie was getting really good so I didn’t want to get up and miss it by going to the bathroom so I held it a little longer. The kissing scene came on and my boyfriend pressed his weight up against me and I let out a groan telling him I wanted more. Unfortunately a groan wasn’t all I let out and soon enough I was peeing as fast as Niagara Falls. When the movie was over we got up to leave and my boyfriend reached to squeeze my butt and received a nasty surprise.

He screamed in disgust and left me standing in the lobby getting disturbed looks from passerby’s.

Who's mourning him then?

I'm glad they did treat him in hospital actually (despite the waste of taxpayers' money) because it made him look small and pathetic and took away his martyr status - he tried to kill us, failed, nearly killed himself in the process (obviously not a very *good* suicide bomber) and we tried to save him, hence we are better than him.

I was amazed that only a handful of people were killed in this collapse. It was a horrible thing to have happen but I'm just amazed that the majority survived.

Does anyone know if any children were among the deceased?
