Would you rather see our department of homeland security working, on an investigation on the bridge collapse in minnesota or on terroristic threats that have already been made against the U.S?

They do investigate terrorist threats against the US and I would rather see our tax dollars go towards real threats and not fairy tale conspiracies like the bridge collapse...I think the bridge collapse happened but it was not done by terrorists or the government.

The dept of homeland security here is buying bullet proof vests for police dogs. Its funny to see this little chihuahua running around with that vest on.

The bridge collapse in minnesota has already been deemed as "metal fatigue" and they've know about it for years.

Securing the borders and locking them up tight needs to be done to hinder the terrorists from getting into the country so easily. Not to mention all these welfare mooching illegals.

I would rather see the Department of Homeland Security disbanded. It is the most expensive boondoggle in recent U.S. government history. This Hitleresque bureaucracy is inefficient, ineffective, incompetent, and completely unnecessary. It has cost American taxpayers billions of dollars for no ascertainable reason other than to continue instilling fear in Americans about Bush's 'evil empire'. This is such a sham; it's a shame.
If we are to live 'free', we must be willing to accept the risks of freedom, including the fact that outside influences might try to attack us. Our military could effectively, efficiently, and professionally handle guarding our nation's borders if Bush didn't have them over in Iraq trying to steal all the OIL swimming underneath that country's sands. -RKO- 08/03/07

terroristic threats. i am a legal mexican of 31 yrs and i can't get a photo id card because i am not an american citizen and i have to show 34 documents to prove i am legal. wow. and they want to find terrorists? a poor girl like me with a job and a car and an apt. they might need to look at the real threats instead and focus on the top ten wanted groups.
