If we pulled all US/UK troops home immediately and stopped giving them any more money, what do you believe would be the outcome to the Iraqi people?

If we pulled out it would be chaos... brother against brother.. the infastructure would collapse, pipe lines bombed... people wouldnt be safe to go anywhere. we're talking a huge humanatarian crisis...

basically it would be the same as now.

HAHAHA I had to add a little edit... I love how the propaganda machine is flying high and running well.. I would hate to think that at some point American citizens would have to think for themselves.
I can see it now.... all of these fighters are going to leave there families.. build some sort of atlantic sea fareing raft and hundreds of them are going to come over and invade our shores.... it will be the jihadist Normandy.
If we left Iraq, any person entering the United States on any visa from any Islamic country would have to run through a gauntlet to get here. Imagine 50 muslims rolling into a hard ware store looking for 20 lbs of nail and 100 lbs of fertilizer.

He has suceeded. How do create a state where you are above everything.. when people are afraid of everything. We have people in towns of 200 people scared of terrorist attacks.

I don't know what exactly would happen. Iraqi PM has said recently that they felt they were ready to operate without troops from the US and UK. If we pulled out I believe many of the terrorist groups and some countries would call us weak, and continue to attack the Iraqi people. (they are anyway) That being said, we have more problems in our own country we should be dealing with first. All this money going to the war could be buying food and shelter for OUR homeless. We need to care for our own first. Let the Iraqis figure their problems out, weve been helping for 6 years now, its time to quit holding their hand while our loved ones are dying. They are fighting a religous war over there, they are not going to give up.
Another thing...all of the troops we have over in Iraq, Middle East , etc...who is going to defend us against an attack right now? Sure there are troops here, but would it be enough?

I dont know what the outcome of the Iraqi people would be, however, I do think that if we pulled out of Iraq immediately, it would give the terrorists the opportunity to plot another horrible attack against us. I hate that we have to be over there, but unfortunately, I feel it is the only way to keep our people safe here on our home soil :(

Terrorists and the insurgents would take over...people would rebel and more death would continue...only on a much larger scale.

I am all for pulling out of Iraq. I know people who are over there now and I want them to come home, but I don't want us to leave the Iraqi people there to die in chaos.

Now, they have security all over, and sure, there are IED attacks and car bombs and shootings, but if we pull out, those attacks will get worse.

I suspect the Muslim Extremists (terrorists) would set about merrily chopping off the heads of all members of the government and then carry out any other orders the President of Iran gave them.

Iran would invade Iraq. We would feed the "Dogs of War" for ten years like we did before. Thin out the population of the Mideast. Cheap oil.

I think that the Iraqi people will get mad for just leaving all the dead people and making all of that disaster for you to just leave it there! And i think that they will come here to the US and attack it....
