After hearing NBC's Kelly O'Donnell asking the President if he thought that his actions to bring about warrantless wiretapping were ethical (which he dodged entirely prompting her to repeat part of the question that went unanswered) it seems to me that Journalists might be getting back to their roots and not just accepting what the White House says about "terrorist threats" as an answer to all questions.

What do you think?

I'm coming to the conclusion they don't even care about anything, their whole purpose in life is war and killing. In Palestine things w/ Israel are cooling to they are attacking eachother, then trying to get Israel back in by firing rockets so they can "unite" and fight Israel. In Iraq blowing up eachother.

They need to round them all up and drop a nuke on them and that will be the end of that. They will always look for a target, they don't need to be allowed to live on my planet and breathe my air. What do you all think?

There are wars going on, people are divided, and foreign products dominate the American market...

But the U.S. still keeps the world's number 1. economy position.

But I want to know the detail; does the U.S. economy doing well right now?

What do you think?

How come there isn't nearly as much outrage for some one like Floyd Landis who was proved of using steroids twice,

but players like Kobe (who was found innocent of rape) and Bonds (who still has not tested positive for steriods) get so much heat.

Rafael Palmeiro and Jose Canseco also got some heat but its no where close to the hatred that players like Bonds and Kobe go thru from fans and media.

IS it just me noticing that race could be a reason why or am I just overanalyzing?

Authorities in northern Iraq have arrested four people in connection with the "honor killing" last month of a Kurdish teen a startling, morbid pummeling caught on a mobile phone video camera and broadcast around the world.

The case portrays the tragedy and brutality of honor killings in the Muslim world. Honor killings take place when family members kill relatives, almost always female, because they feel the relatives' actions have shamed the family.

In this case, Dua Khalil, a 17-year-old Kurdish girl whose religion is Yazidi, was dragged into a crowd in a headlock with police looking on and kicked, beaten and stoned to death last month. Authorities believe she was killed for being seen with a Sunni Muslim man. She had not married him or converted, but her attackers believed she had. Two of the four arrested are members of the victim's family.

"Hmmm i say the all 4 people who are arrested should be touched and stoned to death what do you people think? or better yet nuke that area"

We seriously thought we could create peace in Iraq? Those people have been fighting for hundreds of years, and we seriously thought we were going to go over there and create peace in six months? Who gets the retard award for that one?

I Just read that there was Anti-Freeze found in some toothpaste in Panama. Not to mention the dog food issue. We cannot inspect every shipment for safety so how about a ban on edible imports until the Chinese get the message. Either that or is anybody up to join me in a boycott of imported Chinese Edibles?

Did Congress and the oil companies and oil refineries learn their lesson? Yesterday the gas in my city went from $3.29 to $3.44. Glad I filled up on Monday.

If there was a draft, I think that not only could we win in Iraq but that it would be done much faster and with fewer casualties (being that there is so much strength in numbers). Otherwise, we will not win, and will have to leave, and the terrorists will gain in numbers and spread throughout the Middle East. Leaving us, America, crippled (from lack of oil) and then finished off in ten to fifteen years by all the countless terrorists there will be.

Gas here in tennessee has jumped from $2.87 overnight to $3.09,calling all truckers and those that want to help by boycotting these scoundrals exxon and mobile, does someone have a plan,in earlier years the president would freeze the gas prices, but maybe now its up to us,because Bush has not been listening to anyone. This is a call to all truckers across the United States, and to anyone who will help boycott these high gas prices.

If everyone did not buy gas for one week, the prices would drop in half over night, the back-up would be unbelivable. Do it whatever way you can and we can get this down by June. And, please stay away from the big names, it's all the same. ***** PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO EVERYONE *****

I was watching something on tv about segregation. There were horrible images, but it's not the first time I ever saw them. I know it was bad in places like Birmingham and such, but was it really horrible everywhere? Or were there communities who were decent and civil and even though they were seperate, they weren't cruel? They just went about their business? I imagine that would've been so. Were there blacks and whites who got along despite it all? Please tell me there were some who refused to hate. I was born in the 80's, so I have no idea how it REALLY was. I hope that there are positive stories of blacks and whites hanging out, being happy, having a good time. Anyone know of any?

Our Government tells us Iraq is an immediate threat and then blows the crap out of it

Then they find no weapons but because they blew it up "oops" they have to send 800 billion dollars to repair what they blew up

Then our country has a major hurricane (Katrina) hit one of our 50 United States (Louisiana) and no one from FEMA or the Government shows up for a week to help. Louisiana still sits in ruin today while we still send millions more to Iraq over our weapons mistake.

Now to top it off, the emergency trailors that FEMA/Federal Government gave to the victims of Katrina are poisonous with formaldehyde That children and women can die from illness like cancer caused by these fumes! This country is being managed and controlled by a foreign interest!

Since when did America come second to foreign policy and foreign agenda's?

Why is one of our 50 States still in need rebuilding from disaster when you are rebuilding another Country and sending millions because of your mistake
